RBS Marine Rodman Muse 44 Yacht Review

A classic beauty to behold! If the rodman was a woman, her physical outlook would win her many contests and the word beauty would be an albeit to use on her. One of the sleekest vessels you’ll find, amazingly, the Muse 444 is a flying-bridge boat with a length of just 39 feet, 4 inches.

Engineering

A 39.4 feet length made in Vigo, Spain. She is dexterously fixed with a Divinycell-cored hull. The Rodman brand is a producer of an array of military, cruising and fishing boats. These vast experiences show on the 44.

The leather touch on the wheel and other finishing signals her opulence and magnificence in craftsmanship of her engineers. She has a fridge, microwave and double burners equipped galley in the cockpit. Her Fulvio De Simoni interior is complimented by leather-strap handles on every cabin door in the galley.

Performance

She is fixed with a single 350-gallon tank that gives balance to the 44. At a top speed, the 44 manoeuvres to a two and half boat length turn, yet not causing a water rise that blocks the view of the outer sea. She has perfect interceptor trim tabs. Water on the test day was lenient and quite, no waves or current to actually test her resolve. At her best, she puts up 27.2 knots. Compared to other boats, the pace is not much.

Without turbulence, perfect turns are possible with the complying joystick and The Azimut Atlantis 43 is extremely functional and versatile, representing the best of Italian design and craftsmanship. She has a functional outside space with an aft sunshade and fender stowage coupled with a convenient shifting backrest Vetus lever that captivates.

Space

Her engine does not occupy much space. Her forepeak is furnished with an island queen, small port lights that light cabin to a gentle shade of mesmerising light when the overhead hatch is closed. It has an en suite and a table settee at the aft spread, amidships are some cabins with twin bunks to port.
