Accommodations

The original True North model was designed with a back to basics mentality. It was inspired by lobster boats in New England with its open back design. The Outboard Express follows the same principle. There is a large single level living area with a 4 seat couch and a triangle shaped table. To the right, there is a tiny galley with all of the basic necessities- cooktop, refrigerator, and sink. In front of the galley is the helm that has an aesthetically designed dashboard that moves forward making weigh for all of the boats electronic systems. At port, there is a copilot seat that turns up to increase seating inside. Two small steps lead to the master cabin with V-berth, locker, and bathroom with private shower. Below the main cabin is the engine room with additional storage space. It is bright and cheery throughout the craft and its well build interior makes it easy to keep clean and clutter free. The large cockpit has seating built in and lockers available for storage. According to your specific needs, different options are available.

Construction

High tech construction methods have been used for years by the experiences crew employed by US Watercraft. This company builds many models, and is also a licensed builder of several other designs. Hulls are light and strong. The hull and deck are balsa cored, along with some interior areas. Unless requested, there is no interior wood trimming to mitigate maintenance. There are many aspects of this boat that the active boater will appreciate. It has all of the necessities and amenities that you need, without going lavishly overboard.
