Accommodations

The 63 offers very workable designing with; three staterooms, two head layouts and a full-beam master stateroom with a king size bed and en suite head. This is located on the lower deck just before the engine room.

Forward, the VIP guest stateroom has a queen-size island berth on the center-line and shares the starboard side head with a small port-side stateroom that offers upper and lower bunks. If preferred, there are two side by side twin berths to replace the bunk design.

From the main deck, the pilothouse has the helm on the center-line, offering excellent sight-lines for off shore running. The L-shaped settee and table, with seating for four, is just across on the port side.

The ever so elegant galley is just aft and to port and within reach for serving foods, drinks and excellent conversations. There is an optional center island which closes the inboard side of the galley allowing the chef to remain safer should the boat rock unexpectedly.

There is enormous counter space and excellent stowage makes it a chef’s dream come true.

The elegant and spacious saloon offers a built-in L-shaped settee, freestanding coffee table, room for two wing chairs, an end table and a television that can be lowered out of sight by pressing a button.

There is a Stidd chair, a large electronics console and L-shaped settee on the covered flying bridge. Sight-lines are an idyllic 360 degrees.

The Portuguese bridge is an impressive 42 inches high, providing a protective on-deck location and wave break ahead of the pilothouse. Using a hinged door will give you access to the foredeck.

Performance

During a 50 mile sea test from Ft. Lauderdale to Palm Beach, crew encountered light breeze opposite the out-flowing current at the Port Everglades. This made it possible to see what the vessel is capable of doing. Her 63 bit, spray rails and large flair in the forward sections knocked down spray. Off shore, she traveled through the seas with absolutely no hesitation and her keel kept tracking straight forward. The rudder had control in order to respond to the helm at any speed.

No signs of vibration anywhere and strong on characteristics and solidity of her hull stayed inline with distance traveling and remaining safe while getting there.

At 8.9 knots she burned one gallon per mile, with a predicted range of 1,150 miles!

Construction

Established in 1986, Tania Yacht Company out of Kaohsiung, Taiwan is a very well established company that now only build Outer Reef yachts. All manufacturing for each model is under supervision of the on-site dedicated project manager. Built with a solid fiberglass bottom and starting 6 inches above the waterline, the hull is cored with Divinycell PVC foam in order to reduce weight.

The superstructure is also cored for consideration of weight. In order to provide protection, in case of grounding, the 630’s full length keel extends well below the propellers and rudders. All windows are 3/8 inch tempered glass on the deck and ½ inch tempered glass in the pilot house. Large RFP rub rails, quarter rails and cap rails are bound with heavy polished stainless steel strakes.

This vessel is sturdy, reaches well above requirements and is well beyond an efficient cruiser. She will take you anywhere. With her traditionally elegant style and soft ride, you will be the gentleman and lady of the seas.
