Tiara 44 Coupe Yacht Review

Tiara 44 Coupe Yacht ReviewTiara Yachts has some success on its hands when it comes to the Tiara 44 Coupe. The Coupe features a welcome combination of technology and style. Tiara is known for its sport fishing boats, open layout ships, and cruising saloon express models, but it wanted this one to stand out on its own. The designers sat down and came up with completely new ideas in order to create an open main deck plan with massive windows. This resulted in the 50 Coupe in 2013 and the 44 Coupe in 2015. Both models have comparable qualities.

There are two other options available. In one, the seating area turns into a bunk room, and in the Presidential Option, the stateroom is removed allowing the head and master more space.

Performance

The Tiara is efficient and responsive with its two 435 horsepower Volvo Penta IPS600s. The vessel responds well and the Garmin Glass Cockpit command system makes the ride worth it. It has a joystick for maneuvering, a fly-by-wire steering system, and an advanced autopilot system. It truly is great to drive.

Construction

The hull sides and hull deck are both cored with balsa and the sides are compressed in fiberglass that is cured with quality resin and hand laid.
Because it has a pod propulsion system, the engine room meets standards set by Volvo Penta. At 37 inches, stringers and other physical features are entirely noticeable, but it is easy to maneuver around the engines.
The cockpit has a lounge, a table, and stairs to the side decks and swim platform. In the staterooms, there are hull side windows that make it a bit more airy in the saloon.

Accommodations

Boaters these days should now be accustomed to the sacrifice of headroom to make more room for the above deck. The model with two state rooms and two heads is an option in which this is the case. Designers make this decision almost immediately with boats with large staterooms. As long as you don’t jump up out of bed in a hurry, this will not be an issue. There is a 31 inch area over the twin berths in the guest stateroom. In places that you need to stand, the height is 6 feet 3 inches.

In the master there are 6 feet 5 inches overhead, and a great head with a detached shower. The main charm of this boat is the saloon. There is a large L-shaped sofa that stretches almost all the way along the vessel. There is also a large sun bathing pad on the enormous deck area.
