Cote d’Azur - Yacht Charter

THE SUPERB MEDITERRANEAN COAST INVITES THE RICH AND FAMOUS

← All charters

The excessively glamorous 60-mile stretch from Monaco to St. Tropez is called Cote d’Azur. Where mostly starlets and tycoons visit, the original cast is almost unchanged from the 1950’s as streams of champagne and legendary film stars dancing on tables attract superyachters. Frequenters and accidental visitors can witness the brilliance that sets this coast apart.

There is so much to discover here. Cruise off the old track, evaluate the sandy bars of Camargue and stimulating cuisine at built-in-the-wall snack bars, and the prestige of Cote d’Azur will grow enormously. You can familiarize yourself with this brilliant playground without getting tired as you loiter among ancient settlements on hilltops overlooking the sea, dance all night in refined night clubs, or visit designer boutiques and rich bazaars full of excellent food or wines.

From beginning to end, your charter will take place in the principality of Monaco where you try your fortune playing roulette at the famous Monte-Carlo Casino. When the annual Formula One Monaco Grand Prix takes place, a lot of charters always stay in the harbor and enjoy incomparable views of the race, the immortality of which was storied in Tender is the Night by F. Scott Fitzgerald while Grace Kelly and Cary Grant imparted its fame in “To Catch a Thief.”

A visit to the Riviera is very desirable and what route to sail by luxury yacht can be better?

Travel program

Day 1 Monaco

Fly by helicopter to meet your yacht in Monaco where you’ll have a meal ashore at Sass Café, full of romanticism, but don’t leave so you might see how the likes of Penelope Cruz and Jay-Z are dancing until early morning. There will be plenty of time for you to recover the next day during the unhurried sailing to west along the Cote d’Azur.

Day 2Eze-sur-Mer

Before you do any cruising, go to the hills and pay a visit the medieval town of Eze-sur-Mer at the top of a rocky mountain. The seascapes seen from these high points are pleasant and soothing and the gorgeous cuisine from the eating room of the two Michelin star La Chevre d’Or will intensify the impression.

Day 3Cannes

At sunrise, you’ll proceed to Cannes. Leave your yacht and go visit the spa at the Hotel Barriere Le Majestic and pamper yourself. Walk down La Croisette, do some shopping in luxury boutiques, have dinner in the old town, or just spend the night on board your yacht anchored in the bay as you watch the lights of the city glimmering on the horizon.

Day 4Cannes to St. Tropez

You’ll spend the morning alone on the sliver of a crescent that is Notre Dame Beach. If you start early, stop on the way and anchor among the Iles d’Hyeres. As you sail to St. Tropez, drop anchor for the sake of a swim off of Club 55 on the well-known Pampelonne Beach. This stretch of sand is exceptionally long and is rumored to be the motherland of the bikini that was worn here by Brigitte Bardot. It’s recommended that you have dinner on the shore of Alain Ducasse’s Rivea at Hotel Byblos and visit the markets that take place every Tuesday and Saturday in the Place des Lices.

Day 5Sanary-sur-Mer

Sailing west, you’ll arrive at the charming fishing town of Sanary-sur-Mer. It has a promenade framed with palm trees and neat tiny beaches at your choice, the best of which is Portissol. You can have a romantic outing in the nearby woods, olive coppices, and fields. Enjoy the wonderful panoramic views, having a pleasant dinner on board your yacht, maybe set up in a special place on the deck where it’s possible to enjoy the sunbeams.

Day 6Camargue

If you want to be soothed, there must be a place of peace and quiet. After sailing past Marseilles to the delta of briny lagoons and sandbanks, Camargue, you’ll find an abundance of lively nature including semi-wild Camargue horses and flamingos, so it’s better to ride a bike or go on foot in this wild paradise. Only the music of crickets will lull you to sleep when you’re back aboard.

Day 7Camargue to Marseilles

After bidding “good-bye” to serene Camargue this morning, cruise back to Marseilles where you’ll disembark and meet your aircraft.
