Awarded 1997 Boat of the Year Category: Full-Size Cruiser, Best Value by Cruising World. The Oceanis 461 is built according to CE standards. The Beneteau 461 is above all a sailing yacht. She performs as well as she looks cutting through the water. Easy to handle, her bow thruster aids docking, and the optional Yanmar 76 hp Diesel and 3-bladed feathering Max-prop make her a performer under motor. Her Neil Pryde sails are easy to handle thanks to a Pro Furl furling system for her 140% Genoa, and in-mast furling for her main. Electric Lewmar primary winches aid in sail handling. Her teak handrails, cockpit floor grating at helm and toe rail add to her beauty.
