Overview

This is a fine example of a classic!  This vessel has twice been totally restored and most recently was treated to new diesels, diesel generator in 2008.  Cabin and Electronics were redone in 2012.  She is a fuel efficient battle-wagon using 25 gph at 25 knots!

Overview

The Bertram 31 Sportfish has long been cherished as the true battlewagon of small fishing boats.  Known for it's excellent riding deep V hull and heavily built fiberglass construction, these are among the toughest boats ever made.

The large cockpit in Retriever is teak, eliminating the original Nautilex sole.  The teak covering boards accent the cockpit and give her the true custom sport fish look and feel.

The engines are each housed in individual engine boxes with a walk through to the cabin.  The boxes double as seats and are covered with vinyl cushions.

The cabin features a v-berth, galley, dinette and enclosed head compartment.

Refits in 2000 and 2008 have left Retriever in the best of condition.  She has been kept with an open checkbook since.

Cabin

Entering from the cockpit, the head is to starboard and dinette to port.  The galley is slightly forward on the starboard and the V-Berth is all the way forward.  The cabin sole is Amtico teak and holly for maximum durability.
