This yacht was built from the factory for her current owner who is an avid boater and as a result was constructed with the intent of utilizing the vessel as a family boat which could be easily maintained and had all the creature comforts of home. Aside from her well laid out exterior which included the major factory upgrades, she was also built with the Bertram decor premium package as well as the audio video premium package. The interior wood has a satin finish which will not pick up fingerprints or "milk" like the gloss finish boats we have seen. She has a dishwasher and Amtico flooring in the galley. A full size refrigerator offers an abundance of cold storage the drawer style just cant compete with. All lighting was updated to quartz and there was rope lighting and underwater lighting added as well. There is a custom safe built into the master stateroom and a custom toolbox in the machinery room. So many well thought out features on this boat make her unique from her custom fender tracks beneath the gunwale to mounting the horns on the hardtop rather than the side, or the custom boot stripe in the paint scheme make this a custom designed Bertram any yacht owner will be proud to operate.
Classic convertible styling, 40-knot speed, and the only stairway bridge access in her class characterize the 630 Convertible, Bertram’s replacement for the hugely popular Bertram 60 Convertible built from 1990 through 2005. To boost her top-end speed, Bertram engineers gave the 630 less transom deadrise than her deep-V predecessor in addition to adding a pair of long prop pockets to reduce the shaft angles. The bottom is solid fiberglass, and a long keel provides excellent directional stability. Available with four staterooms, the high-gloss cherry interior includes the latest in luxury appointments as well as the same high level of fit and finish one expects in a Bertram yacht. From the cockpit, the circular bridge access stairway is easier to navigate than a traditional bridge ladder. (Note that on the closed bridge model, the stairwell is inside the salon.) Topside, the 630’s state-of-the-art flybridge is large enough to accommodate a small crowd. Additional features include two 25-kw gensets, central vacuum system, and a bow pulpit.
