"Victory" sleeps six in three double staterooms aft, plus crew quarters forward.
The interior was completely refurbished two years ago. This included carpeting in the salon and stateroom areas, new wall coverings and paint where applicable; new Cherry wood valance boards in the main salon to match the Cherry paneling and cabinetry.
The galley was updated with new appliances, refinished Corian countertops, with Awl-gripped cabinet doors, and Teak and Holly sole extending forward and including the Pilothouse area. Walnut stained Cherry paneling and raised panel Cherry cabinetry throughout the yacht including the main salon and the stateroom areas gives “Victory” a traditional and very nautical ambiance that can only be found on higher quality, custom-built vessels. “Victory’s” Royal Blue Awl-gripped hull and Matterhorn white superstructure are flawlessly distinctive.
“Victory” sleeps six in three double staterooms aft, plus crew quarters for three forward. She embodies a nice blend of traditional Burger styling combined with high-tech engineering details. Her dark blue hull and dark Cherry interior evoke a feeling of yachting as it should be done. On the other hand, a look inside the engine room, or a glance at the tachometer and GPS while underway, instills a confidence in this design that she was indeed meant to be at sea.
The Teak aft deck is accessed through double doors from the main salon. The open deck measures approx. 10’ x 17’, with ample room for six chairs. There is a surrounding Teak capped weather rail, with a gate access to a transom stairway down to the swim platform.
Just aft of the galley, via the starboard passageway is the full-width main salon. Built into the forward bulkhead is a floor to ceiling cabinet arrangement with attractive, raised panel doors. This cabinet area includes storage for china and table furnishings along with a very complete entertainment center with TV, VCR, DVD and stereo system. Outboard to port and starboard, heavy-duty, Plexi-glass wing doors lead to the side decks and fore deck.
Aft to port are two upholstered club chairs with a matching divan between. A custom built table is stowed behind these chairs with drop-down leaves for formal dining. Opposite to starboard is an L-shaped sectional sofa. An identical L-shaped sectional, separated from the forward sectional, by a low Cherry wood topped cabinet. The effect of this arrangement is ideal for both large parties and for intimate gatherings. Opposite the aft sectional to port is a Cherry wood cabinet surrounding the stairway to the owner and guest staterooms. Built into this cabinetry is a wet bar with stainless steel sink, glassware and bottle storage with a separate refrigerator and icemaker.
Next, aft from the pilothouse is the U-shaped galley to port with excellent storage, double stainless steel sink and all appliances. Opposite the galley to starboard is a built-in dinette with seating for six. The dinette table is custom-made Teak, with an awl-grip finish. Two jump seats fold neatly under the table when they are not in use.
Located on the main deck all the way forward is the pilothouse. Port and starboard side doors lead to the outside walkways for access to the foredeck. Aft of the centerline helm is a beige, leather upholstered bench seat with foot-rest and chart storage below. Offset to starboard, a passageway leads aft to the galley and main salon. Visibility from the pilothouse is excellent.
The master stateroom is all the way aft, with a centerline king-size berth with storage under and bedside tables with reading lamps on each side. To starboard is a built-in vanity with a lighted mirror, this can be raised and lowered as desired. Forward from the vanity seating area are a 4-drawer bureau and a single door, full-length Cedar hanging locker. Next forward starboard is the owners head and stall shower, with a Corian countertop and inset, hand-painted porcelain sink.
To port of the master berth is an 8-drawer, built-in bureau and double door, full-length Cedar hanging locker. An entertainment center is built into the forward bulkhead of the master stateroom with a color television, VCR and stereo system.
The two guest staterooms are located forward of the master. Both cabins have twin lower berths and full-length Cedar hanging lockers as well as 6-drawer bureaus. Bedside tables separate the berths with reading lamps on each side. The starboard cabin has a private head with a stall shower, while the port cabin has a private head with a full-sized Jacuzzi tub with shower.
Opposite the crew lounge to port is the private Captain’s cabin, with a single berth and en-suite head with shower. Forward is another cabin with an upper berth to port with a second head opposite. Just aft of the water-tight chain locker bulkhead is a stall shower for the forward crew cabin.
The stand-up engine room is accessed through a water-tight bulkhead door just aft of the crew lounge. A stairway from the crew quarters leads up to the starboard side of the pilothouse. A separate compact refrigerator is built into the stairway bulkhead leading to the wheelhouse.
All the way forward, accessed from the pilothouse, are the crew quarters. Immediately to starboard is the built-in laundry center with washer and dryer. Next forward is the crew lounge, consisting of a built-in U-shaped settee arranged around a pedestal mounted table. There is an entertainment center with TV, VCR and built-in stereo system.

The flybridge can be accessed from the pilothouse by a stairway port aft, with a pneumatically activated hatch. Forward on the bridge deck is the helm chair aft of the centerline controls, with companion chairs to each side.
Aft, there is an L-shaped seating built along both sides and aft of the center bar console. The hinged radar mast is integral with the bar console and can be lowered to enable navigation beneath fixed bridges of approx. 20’ clearance. Also built into the center bar cabinetry are a JennAire BBQ grill, U-Line refrigerator, icemaker and stainless steel sink.
Aft of the flybridge seating area is walk-through access to the boat deck, where there are chocks mounted for a tender and water sports toys. A heavy-duty, low profile davit (rebuilt 2001) is offset to starboard. There is a Pipewelders top over the forward end of the flybridge area, with a new EZ2CY enclosure across the front of the helm area.
With four watertight bulkheads and an integral tankage system, Burgers are well-known for their superbly engineered construction. "Victory" is a proven, non-pounding design with the horsepower to get there at cruising speeds approaching 20 knots, while still capable of running at slower speeds for fuel economy.
