Overview

BLUE STAR is a classic Burger designed by Hargrave that offers excellent sea keeping ability.  She features three staterooms each with private heads midship, plus crew forward, walk around deck, raised pilothouse and open flybrige. The salon features large windows and double aft doors. The interior is finished in an African Anigre with light hard wood and dark Teak trim accents. The engine room is midship accessed from crew quarters forward. Four bulkheads separate the vessel into five watertight compartments; forepeak/chain locker, crew quarters, engine room, aft staterooms and lazarette.

Salon

Entering the salon from the aft deck are double glass sliding doors plus two large floor to ceiling windows. To the starboard side is a built in anigre wood cabinet with pop-up glass storage.  To the port side is a sofa and chair. Large windows surround the salon. Forward of the salon is an informal dining area with wood table, four chairs with cushions and built in storage with mirrors above.

Day Head

The day head is forward of the salon and informal dining area and is accessed from the starboard side walkway.

Galley

The galley is located forward of the forming dining area, it can be accessed from the starboard walkway and features a privacy door.  Just above the double sink, to port, is a large window.  The galley cabinets and storage drawers are white mica with light blue accent stripe. Vinyl flooring is throughout the galley.

Formal Dining

Moving forward from the salon walkway is the formal dining with a privacy pocket door.  This is a spacious area with big windows to port and starboard.  The aft bulkhead has floor to ceiling mirrored storage for china, silver and glasses. One will find a glass top table with six wood upholstered chairs, wall sconces, free standing antique buffet, window treatments, neutral carpet and silk overhead.

Master Stateroom

The master stateroom is aft with a private ensuite and is accessed from the salon stairs with a double door entry.  This stateroom features a king berth with upholstered bench seat, light colored Butternut custom cabinetry, vanity, two large closets, TV, side tables, rope lighting, wall scones and storage. The master ensuite has a jetted tub and shower, sink with gold fixtures, marble counter top and floor and microphor head.

Guest Stateroom Twin

To the starboard side is a twin guest stateroom with built in storage. The private head features stall shower, sink and toilet.

Guest Stateroom Queen

The queen stateroom is to port. This stateroom has grey mica built in cabinetry with a queen berth. The private head features a stall shower, sink and toilet.

Laundry

 Located in the foyer of the guest staterooms.

Crew Quarters

The crew mess is accessed from a stairwell starboard side forward. There is an overhead hatch that leads to the foredeck. The crew mess has built in seating with table, carpet, u-line refrigerator, TV and lights.  Directly aft of the crew mess is a shared shower and across from that is the shared toilet and sink.

Pilothouse

The pilothouse is raised forward to the salon, accessed by both the port and starboard entry doors. There is an upholstered double bench seat with joystick controls and VHF. The sole is Teak and Holly and there are stairs leading to the flybridge.

Flybridge

The flybridge is accessed through the pilothouse. There is seating to port and starboard with storage, two helm seats, retractable canvas overhead, dock box, sink, tender, davit, two spot lights, retractable mast and nonskid sole. 

Aft Deck And Swim Platform

The aft deck has access to the lazzarette and spiral stairs leading down to the swim platform. One will find folding chairs and a table, as well as clear wing doors to close off side decks. The swim platform is Teak with removable stainless steel rails.

Foredeck

The foredeck is equipped with a double anchor windlass. There is seating facing forward and the brow is provisioned for a bunny pad.
