Overview

"Still Loafing" is a great example of the popular Carver Super Sport 42. Outfitted with Volvo twin diesel 370HP engines with IPS pod drives, with a joystick for docking and maneuvering, it's a breeze to handle even in tight quarters. Low hours (290), regular maintenance and boat house kept, this is a clean boat. Her hull and deck shines, and the teak decking in the cockpit is clean. No smells.

This is the 2 cabin version with two heads (split shower and head for the master cabin), with a lower helm and large flybridge with seating for up to 10.

She comes with lots of features, including:

- Reverse cycle AC and Heating, with individual controls in the salon and cabins,

- 10kw Kohler generator,

- Full array of electronics, including Raymarine 380 color chart plotters, autopilot, and an IBM laptop with navigation software and repeater screen on flybridge.

SALON & GALLEY

  • To Port, there are two swiveling, removable seats. Behind it are the AC and DC Distribution panel, and to the right the stereo controls. Above the seating is the flat-screen 20" Sole TV, which you can easily see from the sofa across or the galley. Further forward is the elevated table for 2-3 to have dinner. The table is not fixed, and can be moved outside into the cockpit, or in the salon for dinner with more guests.
  • To Starboard, there is a comfortable, cream sofa with individually reclining seats. There are two speakers, Reverse-cycle AC/Heating controls, and an additional "red dot" heater on the galley furniture.
  • The Galley is forward, to Port, and offers double sinks, a two burner electric cook top, microwave oven, full size fridge and freezer (Nova Cool), and a coffee machine. 
  • Storage: Below the floor is a large opening hatch for a storage with steps. This has two empty storages big enough to potentially house a washer and dryer, and also houses a set of spares for the engines and genset, and different types of shore power connectors.

Lower Helm

  • The Lower Helm is to Starboard and raised for visibility. The seat for two is adjustable. Throttle for the two engines. There is a joystick that takes over both engines and the pod drives at the flybridge helm.

Guest Head

  • Located forward of the Galley to Port, the guest head is spacious, with a large countertop, and a shower stall separated by a circular sliding acrylic door. There is a vacuflush head.
  • Other features include: 110 OV outlet - GFCI protected, Head fan, cabinets, Nonskid sole, Holding Tank monitor lights up when tank is 3/4 full.

 

Guest Stateroom

  • Located across from the guest head, to Starboard is the inviting Guest Stateroom. There is a large double size bed, plenty of storage behind the bed and a hanging locker and drawers when you enter the cabin. Two sets of ports at different levels (Including two opening ports) bring in light and fresh air. Individual AC/Heating control.

Master Stateroom

  • The Master Stateroom, all the way forward, is inviting and luxurious-feeling. The cherry wood cabinetry and curtains give the space a nice warm feel. The bed is a queen size with steps on either side to make it easy to climb on. 
  • There is a slit head and shower on either side, accessible directly from the Master Cabin.

  • The Master Head and Shower are on split sides, and only accessible from the Master Cabin. There is a vacuflush head. Nice vanity with good storage. 
  • The Shower stall has an integrated bench seat, shower curtain, towell bar. 
  • Other Features Include: Head fan, Nonskid sole, Soap dish, towel ring and toilet paper holder -wall-mounted

 

FLYBRIDGE

  • The Flybridge is a great space to hang out, with lots of seating for entertaining. There are facing L-shaped Settees that can sit about 6, with a table, a mini bar/service area with a sink, counter, icemaker and storage. Aft of the settees is a wide (about 2 by 4 feet) area for storage. Finally, facing forward is a bench for two to Starboard, and the helmstation for two to port. An arch 
  • The area is protected by a long, beige bimini top and a venturi screen to deflect the wind. 
  • Sound system: Poly-Planar stereo and CD player with several Pioneer outdoor speakers, and at the helm a quick control module. 
  • Other features include: 4 courtesy lights near the floor, Self-draining walk surface
  • Arch is aft and houses the Raymarine open-array, TV antenna, VHF antenna, Radio antenna, and navigation lights. 
  • Flag pole holder located aft, overhangs the cockpit.
