Overview
DAYDREAM has been expertly maintained, refitted and upgraded throughout. To give just an example (in addition to what appears in the specs above):In 2012 both drive lines were overhauled, meaning the following: Propeller shafts were inspected and calibrated, propellers checked and balanced, old cutlass bearings were removed and new bearings installed, with both drivelines fully re-aligned.
Since then f.ex. the caprails have been made detachable, so that they can be both stored and maintained inside, out of season.
DAYDREAM is a yacht which immediately gives anyone coming onboard a sense of space, both inside and on the vast outside decks. With her fully commercial registry she has proved herself a highly successful charter yacht, both for holiday trips and corporate events. We consider this to be an advantage for anyone contemplating the purchase of a yacht in this size, even if the primary purpose can, of course, equally well be for purely personal use.
Accommodations
10 guests in 5 staterooms and 7 crew in 3 cabins
The interior is openly laid out showing large open spaces. It is classic in style, with a mixture of wood, lacquer panels, marble and rich carpets and gives the yacht a true impression of undated, understated elegance. A spectacular feature for a yacht of this size is the side entry doors and lobby, between the dining room and the main saloon
SALOON
The main deck saloon and dining room is arranged in an open plan, giving additional sense of volume and space.
OTHER LIVING AREAS
The sky lounge is an intimate place for relaxing or working, with twin suitably sized dining tables on the deck outside. On top is a sundeck, with bar, Jacuzzi and a full size dining table. The forward half of the sundeck is shaded under a fixed canopy. Aft there are sun loungers.
OWNER & GUEST CABINS
These are all located amidships on the lower deck and therefore very comfortable whether on passage or at rest. The full beam owner’s suite, comprising main bedroom and two en-suite bath-rooms is entered separately from the four spacious guest cabins (2 doubles and 2 twins, all of course with en-suites).
CREW ACCOMMODATION
The crew quarters are forward with 3 cabins all with en-suites, crew mess and laundry, whilst the captain’s cabin is just behind the Bridge. It was all freshened up with new wall papers and paint in 2012.
DECK ARRANGEMENT
The sundeck features bar, Jacuzzi and full size dining table. The forward half of the sundeck is shaded under a fixed canopy.
