Overview
The Select Yacht Group (Cornwall, England) built the Cornish Crabber 22 Gaff Rigged Cutter with many of the features of their larger yachts while still capable of being towed on her matched trailer.
CLEAN & CAPABLE SAILBOAT *** NEW LOWER PRICE
Designed by Roger Dongray, the Cornish Crabber 22 is ultra versatile with matching trailer, folding mast and bowsprit, and centerboard adjustable from 2'4" to 5' draft.
Length on deck 22' with a length overall (LOA) at 27' including the bowsprit.
The vessel is handsomely built and a nice nimble but sturdy size. She was actually sailed from Cornwall England to the Bahamas and then trailered to Charleston.
Twin gunwales are fitted on the Crabber 22 with a single color navy blue hull. The ingenious centreboard is designed to be raised or lowered single-handed and the canted bowsprit doubles as a pivot for raising and lowering the mast as well as saving money on marina berths.
The powerful 2005 Yanmar 2YM15 diesel 2-cylinder inboard engine delivers a gutsy 14 hp, while under sail the Crabber 22 is light and agile, often outpacing much larger yachts.
Recent updates November 2019 - new bottom paint, new trailer beam, and December 2019 new cockpit Sea Dek, new bilge pump.

NOTABLE FEATURES
The Crabber 22 is strongly built, on four main mouldings: hull, deck, interior moulding and inner deckhead lining, which has a tongue and groove finish.
The hull is solid GRP, with encapsulated steel ballast around the keel, plus a drop keel. The builders do not quote the ballast weight. The deck is balsa sandwich with substantial plywood pads incorporated for deck fittings.
Adjustable centerboard draft from 2'4" to 5" is perfect for low country sailing around low tides, marshes, and shoals.
All new bottom paint, tiller glass and paint, bilge pump, and professionally installed SeaDek in the cockpit all completed 12/2019.
