ACCOMMODATIONS

Featuring a fiberglass hull and superstructure with teak decks, GRUMPY sleeps 6 Owners/Guests in three staterooms and up to 6 crew in 3 cabins. Each guest stateroom and crew cabin are ensuite.

The yacht can be boarded from the stern platform, where a watertight door leads into a fully finished lazarette “foyer” that has an open hot/cold shower for swimming/diving, watersports. The lazarette stairwell door to the aft deck is electric. Additionally there are two boarding gates on the port and starboard walk arounds. A main boarding entrance on the starboard side enters into a foyer/companionway with a classic teak sole that runs aft and forward.

The aft deck offers a large dining table that seats eight comfortably for alfresco dining with access to the salon. In addition to the new seating, including a lounger, there are side tables, a television, storage lockers port and starboard and access to the full walk-around side decks as well as an enclosed stairwell to the bridge sundeck. The aft deck has been fitted with a custom privacy screen as well as custom side windows with three sliding panels on the starboard and port sides which allows for usage during inclement weather.

The main salon is entered either from the aft deck or from the main entrance on the starboard side. The aft deck entrance is comprised of double doors and also has double sided custom retractable screens that allow the fresh air to flow throughout the salon. One can keep both doors and screen fully open or opened separately from either side. The salon features teak joinery throughout. Just inside the salon to starboard is a full bar, with a copper basin sink, an ice machine and an under counter refrigerator, as well as an entertainment island slightly forward of the bar that houses a lift up flat screen television and entertainment center. The salon and private office have been renovated with new carpet and custom roman shades that are electric with matching roman shades in the office that are manual as well as two new barrel chairs and a glass topped coffee table. The office is just forward of the salon and is completely private with sliding pocket doors. The office features a television, bookcases, filing drawers and a loveseat.

A companion way along the starboard side just forward of the salon and office leads to a day-head/powder room, main entrance, access to the raised pilot house, an equipment room/storage below the pilot house and access to the crews quarters and engine room via a curved private stairway. A further surprise is the custom retractable screen on the main entrance door allowing for a wonderful breeze to penetrate the interior. The equipment room contains two wine coolers, a freezer chest, various electrical equipment, hot water heaters as well as an abundance of storage.

Continuing forward along the companionway is the main galley and dining room. The galley has new Hunter window blinds, new Lonseal flooring as well as a custom topped center island that houses storage and an ice machine. Complete with a pantry, storage, subzero refrigerator, cook top, stove, microwave, trash compactor, delta hands free faucet, the galley was reconfigured to allow immediate yet an unobtrusive entry into the dining room via a modified, hinged counter top and custom full size door.

Completely forward and full beam is the dining room with seating for eight on custom upholstered chairs with matching electric roman shades and new carpeting. The dining room is full of surprise with storage, buffet tops all around and hidden storage completely forward behind 4 lovely pieces of artwork. The dining room ambience is either formal or family style and includes a TV that can be removed when the occasion warrants more buffet space or formal dining.

Returning aft along the companionway, just past the main galley is the stairwell to the immaculate engine room and generously appointed crews quarters. The crew galley/lounge has a 4-burner cooktop, microwave, wall mounted TV along with an undercounter refrigerator, full size commercial freezer and refrigerator. Also in the crew galley are cameras and a full walk-in laundry room with side-by-side washer and dryer and mud sink.

The crew quarters offer two ensuite cabins with over/under berths and a captain’s cabin with large walk-around queen berth. All three crew staterooms feature ensuite heads with full size stall showers. The engine room is located just aft of the crew lounge/galley, amidship and can also be accessed from the port side deck walk around.

The accommodations deck offers a full beam master stateroom forward off the foyer, offering a king berth, numerous drawers, bureau storage, counter space and a makeup vanity. The master stateroom also offers new carpet, new custom electric roman shades throughout the master cabin and ensuite as well as new wall covering throughout, wall-to-wall wardrobes and dresser, new headboard, foot bench, new vanity chair and mirror, storage under the bed both in drawers and under the mattress. The marble ensuite bath to starboard offers a vanity with double sinks, full size spa tub, linen cabinets and an enclosed shower. An enclosed toilette room completes the spa-like ensuite with a hidden bonus room which contains a gun locker, safe and provides extra space for provisions and luggage.

The raised pilothouse located off the companionway adjacent to the main entrance offers chart station and radio desk, observation lounge with table and full size pilot berth. A stairwell from the pilothouse leads up and aft to the fly bridge and boat deck. Situated forward and up several steps from the boat deck, the fly bridge offers a centerline helm station, port & starboard built-in seating and wing stations; all protected by a molded hardtop and fully enclosed with EZ-2CY enclosure panels forward, port and starboard, which allow for all weather running from the fly bridge. The yacht has a new custom 5’ extendable davit by Quick-Lift that allows off-loading of the tender from the port, starboard and stern. The bridge aft deck has a new barbecue as well as a beverage center, ice machine and TV along with two lounge chairs. The boat deck offers access to the aft deck, bench seating aft and a stairwell leading down to the aft deck on the main level. Built-in cabinets under the helm, under the bench seating and below the bridge deck to starboard with an electric barbeque, sink, ice machine and beverage center complete the accommodations on the fly bridge.
