Arbitrage a 2004 Dereli Daytripper 40 Express is in fantastic condition. The owner has maintained the boat with an open checkbook, the boat recently had a major overhaul of many items and systems.

This boat has the looks and features that you normally can only find on boats worth many times the listing price of this Dereli 40.

  • Full rebuild of BOTH Hamilton Jets, then painted with PropSpeed
  • Full engine service, including cleaning of Aftercoolers, and new Exhaust elbows

  • NEW ZF Marine electronic throttle replaced for Jet control
  • ALL Brightwork on deck stripped down to bare wood, and built back up with several coats of varnish

Overview

Arbitrage is a well outfitted downeast style cruiser with gorgeous lines, with an equally luxurious hi-gloss wood interior.

Powered by twin Yanmar 370hp inline six-cylinder turbo charged engines that are connected to Hamilton Jet drives.

A Superpower bow thruster makes this boat very easy to maneuver near the dock, and she has a great cruising speed of 18-20knts and tops out near 26knts.

This boat has only recently been stored in a wet slip, previously this boat was kept in rack storage out of the water & sun.

The brightwork on deck has recently been re-varnished, and also has full mooring covers.

Accommodations

Helm Area

The helm has all the features one would want in a boat of this size and style. Good visibility, a great adjustable helm chair, and plenty of companion seating with a large teak table. The helm area is cooled by a 24,000 BTU Cruise Air unit, that keeps everyone cool and comfortable.

 Aft Deck

The aft area has a large sunpad area that is all teak decking, and includes large cushions for sunbathing. Just forward of the sunpad there is more seating and storage areas on port and starboard sides.

Forward Stateroom

The master berth features a V-berth with an insert to make this a very comfortable space for two. There are two hanging lockers to either side of the berth, along with a deck hatch overhead for plenty of natural light.

The master is also cooled by its own 8,000 BTU Cruise Air A/C unit.

Salon

The Salon has very generous headroom, and also has a dinette that can easily seat 4 for dinner aboard. The dinette table can be lowered so that the area can become another berth for two more guests.

The entire cabin has hi-gloss wood finishes on all bulkheads. The overhead is white planked Herreshoff-style composite, and the floor is teak and holly throughout the cabin.

Galley

This boat was ordered with the granite counter top upgrade, which looks fantastic set off against all of the wood bulkheads. The galley has a good sized Nova Kool fridge and freezer, along with a glass two burner stove top, a GE Microwave oven, along with a stainless steel sink.

Head

The head features plenty of space to move around with granite counter tops, along with a Raritan electric head, and a stand up shower.
