Overview

Vessel Walkthrough

BERSCHERT probably has the best layout for a cruising boat in the 48 foot range.

Being a trunk cabin style layout, moving around the vessel is effortless.  Stepping aboard can be easily accomplished from the teak swim platform and trough he transom door to the cockpit, or from either side deck.  From the cockpit, the aft cabin is accessed through a teak door.  From the deck, there is a sliding door on the starboard side at the lower helm

 Salon:

Once again, the salon is extremely spacious. Lower helm is forward and to starboard.  Port side is a very large L shaped settee with a beautiful custom  teak table. Forward and to port is a built in ice maker,  entertainment cabinet and drawers.

Aft Stateroom:

Going aft from the salon and down several steps lands in the owner’s aft cabin.  A very large Walk around island berth is just to port of center.  Again, High quality hand crafted  teak cabinetry is throughout . Hanging locker and cabinet doors are all louvered not only for looks but for ventilation.  Plenty of drawers and cedar lined lockers.

Forward and starboard is the aft head.  Just aft,  in a nook is a wonderful vanity with stool. Just forward is the separate stall shower.

Galley and Guest Cabins:

Forward and down a few steps from the salon is the fully appointed Galley.  A large U-shaped counter is to port With an L-shaped dinette with teak table just forward.  Two overhead deck hatches and numerous side ports provide plenty of natural ventilation and light.

The mid guest cabin with over under bunks is to Starboard across from Galley.

The forward head is in the galley area forward and starboard, featuring the vessel’s second stall shower.

The third guest cabin is located in the bow and features a v-berth with an  extra large Filler cushion that converts the two berths into one large berth. Once again, loads of storage with hand crafted cabinetry in Herreshoff styling.
