Overview

A change in this owner's plans brings this Pristine Europa to the market.  She is loaded with upgrades and shows like a much newer boat than its age.  It has the desirable Yanmar Engine package and all maintenance is up to date.  Marine Survey dated June 2020 is available to serious shoppers.

'RUNNING WITH THE WIND"  is a 2005 GB 46 Europa, one of the most recent built in this size and model. The 46 Europa remains a very popular design and layout. She features wide walk around teak decks that are covered on port, STBD and aft.

Great for outdoor living. Her flybridge is spacious with comfortable seating and privacy from passersby in a marina.

The vessel was purchased by its current owner in late summer 2020 and cruised from Miami to New England then back to Charleston, SC.  The owner has decided that Yachting is not for him and has put the boat on the market. A Pre-purchase Marine Survey is available to serious shoppers for review.  Her engine room will rival a new boat for care and lack of rust and cleanliness. Her engines have been regularly serviced and after-cooler cores replaced due to age, not hours run. This attention to detail will provide years of future use.

Outstanding features are:
Yanmar economical 465 hp engines, cruises at 17 knots, tops out low 20's  655 actual hours -  all Yanmar recommended  services up to date.
Two staterooms, two heads each with stall shower
Teak and holly soles, upgraded option, teak parquet was standard.  Flybridge cabinet with grill, sink and drink refrigerator
STIDD flybridge seats (2), recently reupholstered
New Garmin GPS plotters/48 mile radar, autopilot, 2018
New Intellian SAT TV, 2017
Side Power bow thruster
Separate washer and dryer
Onan 13.5 Kw generator
NEW bottom paint, June 2020
NEW Prop Speed applied to props AND trim tabs, June 2020

Manufacturer Provided Description

Romantic in the classic maritime sense, the Grand Banks 46 Europa's spacious deck house opens aft to a shaded cockpit, a design feature both functional and beautiful. Built on the same hull-form as the popular 46 Classic, the Europa offers an additional design distinction that further encourages indoor/outdoor activity: a flybridge that extends over the side decks. The result is an attractive, safe-from-the-weather steering and navigational station.  At anchor or at dockside, a teak-crafted door slides open, providing a direct connection from the salon to the roomy, aft cockpit space. Sleeping arrangements are equally attractive. . If you happen to be in the market for extra space, beauty and dependability, this is without a doubt the yacht for you.
