Overview

2003 40' Guthrie Custom Carolina Sportfish Express with twin Cummins QSM11 635 hp diesel engines (4,000 hours) cruises at 28 knots @ 44 gph and tops out in the mid 30 knots range at 2300 rpm.  Northern Lights 10 kW generator has 5,000 hours.  Teak helm pod area has full Furuno, Simrad, Northstar, and Icom electronics suite, polished stainless steel single lever controls and steering wheel, and top of the line teak helm chair with stainless pedastal.  Full tower has another suite of Furuno, Simrad, and Icom electronics with full steering and engine controls, plus there's a 3rd control station located to starboard in the cockpit for short-handed fishing.  Fishing equipment includes Rupp Tournament spreader outriggers and center rigger, and Murray teak fighiting chair with stainless pedastal.  She sports the full custom Carolina looks package with teak cockpit sole and cover boards, has 500 fuel in two tanks to get you across the Gulfstream or the tournament limit line and back, and has a new Dometic 540d icemaker, new high strength shafts and cutlass bearings, and two sets of Austral high-end props.  Down below she has a fully air conditioned living quarters with galley and plenty of storage, making this the perfect sportfish & family cruiser.  Well maintained w/full-time Captain and Mate crew by a professional owner.
