Vessel Walkthrough

The Hatteras 61’ cockpit Motor yacht features a large bridge, comfortable aft deck that leads down to a cockpit and an interior that is laid out with a large salon lower helm station and three cabin three head accommodations.

You may enter the salon by the aft door or sliding doors on either the port or starboard side of the lower helm station. Once inside, the salon reveals updates of every sort while keeping to the traditional Hatteras scheme. There is a large sofa to port as well as barrel chairs to starboard and end tables and accents to bring the space its own unique feel.

Proceeding forward there is a centerline helm station with a traditional Hatteras helm seat and high gloss parquet sole. Forward and down several steps to starboard the next portion of the 61’ you will come to is the large galley that is complete with a dinette and pump room under the sole. There is a guest stateroom forward of the galley that has upper and lower bunks as well as an ensuite head to port. Moving aft from the galley the laundry station is located to starboard. There is a second guest stateroom to port with side by side beds. Opposite of the second guest stateroom on the starboard side of the companionway is a full guest head.

Engine room access is along the companionway with two doors to each engine compartment as well as removable wall panels for increased access without compromising the luxury offered by this fine interior. The stand alone engine room for each motor offers an abundance of space not found on most boats today.

The full beam master is found farthest aft and offers the space and accommodations that any owner would find pleasing. The master highlights include a queen size bed, ensuite head, aft windows and plentiful storage.

The “SHAZAM” has had many updates with the greatest care being taken to not betray the traditional Hatteras style that has made these boats so popular. The exterior features a large aft deck with all of the comforts to enjoy a sunrise or sunset anywhere in the world. Port and starboard aft deck doors can allow an owner and his guest to move freely about the boat without having to do the “high wire” act that is commonly performed to reach the bow. You can ascend to the bridge level by using the starboard located ladder. The large bridge will allow a captain great visibility while providing great comfort to his passengers. An added bonus to this 61’ is the cockpit that can be easily entered from the aft deck and a transom door and gate makes for easy access to the swim platform. Every effort was made on the exterior to achieve the same goal that the owner had with interior as far as keeping to the traditional Hatteras theme. A tour of this 61’ will set the bar for the rest of the market.
