CHATEAU MARGAUX is a very special Hatteras cockpit motor yacht that began life as a 65', then Hatteras added the 9' cockpit extension at the factory.  She is now 74 feet with a large aft deck and a much larger master stateroom. 

When she was built, she was the most highly customized Hatteras to leave the factory.  Chateau Margaux was originally built as a 65’ motor yacht and was extended by Hatteras to 74 feet.  The 9 foot extension yields treasured extra space to the aft deck and master stateroom.  She was, at the time, the most highly customized Hatteras to leave the N.C. factory.  Some of these extra features include a VIP queen forward, a VIP queen amidships and crew stateroom to port.  All 4 staterooms have ensuite baths and separate CruiseAir AC units with SMX II digital controls.  There are 5 VacuFlush heads throughout the yacht.  Other notable features include walk around side decks, custom galley up, main floor day head, 2 Marquipt Stainless Steel elevators (lifts) to the bridge and master stateroom.  The addition of these lifts at the time of building ensured total accessibility to the yacht for someone with a possible challenge like skier’s knees.  The custom walnut wood work brings elegance and warmth that complement  the new high tech wall finishes.

Chateau Margaux, a 1992 74 foot Hatteras  FLUSH DECK motor yacht is a fully furnished, unique custom build.  She was updated in 2015 & 2016 to restore her to her original glory as well as to bring her up to top quality modern standards and finishes.  Custom high gloss walnut woodwork and new hardwood floors have been applied throughout the vessel and give her an elegant, mega yacht ambiance.  The open concept salon and galley-up with granite counter tops, new steel appliances and a marble counter top day head adjacent to the salon add richness and convenience to the yacht.  Salon windows provide a 360 degree view and a new 60” HD SmartTV is hidden inside a custom walnut cabinet with a motorized, remote-controlled lift.  4 satellite KVH receivers are located in the salon and 3 staterooms.   Spaciousness abounds with a large aft deck, walk around side decks and an extra-large master suite.  The head room aboard CHATEAU MARGUAX IS 6' 7".  Two Marquipt elevators with remote controls allow easy access from master stateroom to salon and from helm station to flying bridge.  Exterior is newly painted, all cushions are newly upholstered and the custom UMT Marine 1000 lb. davit is brand new and easily lifts its 12' 2015 AB hard bottom inflatable.
