Re-powered with 1150 HP C18 CATs with warranties and a SeaKeeper gyro stabilizer. Over $1 Million refit with all new systems, interior and exterior from 2012 to 2015.  She is undoubtedly the finest 55 Hatteras in the world. A remarkable vessel with like new yacht finish and systems, yet the provenance of this popular and proven model. The battlewagon of her day with solid fiberglass hull and large volume interior with three staterooms and three heads makes her an ideal boat for both cruising and fishing. She has the amenities of a 65 footer, but the ability for a couple to easily manage. Full time Captain maintained in Bristol condition. Air conditioned and heated flybridge and mezzanine. Standup gleaming white engine room. 26 knot cruise 33 knot top end.

Salon and Galley

Interior refitted in 2012 by Yacht Interiors of Annapolis. The carpeted salon is quite large and seats 10 comfortably with high gloss varnished quarter sawn African walnut throughout the boat. Lots of natural light and magnificent 360 degree views thanks to the front windshield. Salon side windows and windshield were replaced in 2015. Recessed LED ceiling lights.  As you enter the salon there is a large L shaped ultraleather couch to starboard with fold out queen bed and storage underneath.  Forward to starboard is the peninsula galley with faux granite countertops, twin barstools, under counter refrigerators, icemaker, sink, microwave, 4 burner cooktop and Lonseal teak and holly flooring.  Built in flat screen TV electronically folds up from the dash and can be viewed from every seat. Satellite TV receiver.  To port are two ultraleather couches with storage underneath.

Master Stateroom

Large master stateroom to starboard with walkaround queen bed and custom mattress.  Storage drawers under the bed, two night stands with drawers, separate dresser with drawers and hanging closet. LED reading lights. Flat screen TV with DVD player. Dedicated air conditioner / heater. Lots of natural light with 3 custom extra-large portlights with one way white coating. White translucent ceiling hatch and hatch in shower ceiling. Large master head with Raritan fresh water head, Corian countertop, Lonseal teak and holly flooring, stall shower and mirrored ceiling.

Guest Stateroom

Guest Stateroom is to port with generous over under berths with custom mattresses. Storage drawers under the berth, night stand with drawers and hanging closet. Dedicated air conditioner / heater. Single portlight with one way white coating. White translucent ceiling hatch. Large master head with Raritan fresh water head, Corian countertop, Lonseal teak and holly flooring, stall shower and mirrored ceiling. Head is accessible from both stateroom and companionway.

V-Berth Stateroom

V-Berth stateroom is forward with large over under berths to starboard with custom mattresses. Storage drawers under the berth, dresser with drawers and hanging closet. Dedicated air conditioner / heater. Lots of natural light with 2 portlights with one way white coating. Extra large white translucent ceiling hatch. V-berth head has Raritan fresh water head, Corian countertop, and “wet” shower.

To port is a closet with stacked washer and dryer (new 2012)

Twin C18 Caterpillar 1150 hp new in 2012 each with CAT extended warranties through June 2017. Option to extend to 2020. 26 knot cruise at 1950 RPMs 80 gph and 74% load. 33 knot WOT at 2360 RPMs.
