Yachts with similar parameters:
Hard to come by Hunt Yachts Surfhunter 29 with inboard Volvo D6 435 hp state-of-the-art electronic diesel paired with an Ultrajet 305 waterjet with joystick control linked to bow thruster for ease of maneuverability around the dock and true shoal draft. The deep-vee hull with 22 degrees of deadrise at the transom, along with substantial running strakes and custom trim tabs with skegs allow this boat to track well and provide the soft and amazingly dry ride the Surfhunter line is known for.
This engine/jet combination is a great match with this hull and the result is a wonderful jet boat that goes nicely at 15 knots on a plane, right on up to 24 knots fast cruise all day long, with max speed of 32 knots.
Flag Blue topsides with single white boot and red bottom. Tan Bimini top with matching tan exterior cushions with blue piping and Moondust nonskid makes for a sharp look. Spacious cockpit and enclosed bridgedeck with large L-settee to port, helm to starboard. Teak accents at helm, teak louvered companionway doors, teak hatch and glove box dress it up and are practical at the same time. Excellent ventilation provided by roll-up side curtains and side vent opening windows in the windshield. Below are several opening ports, a solar fan and a large opening hatch. Screens for all opening ports and hatch.
Sightlines from the helm and bridgedeck seating are excellent. Full beam stern seat can be removed to open up the cockpit for fishing or hauling gear.
The interior features a vee-berth with filler and hanging locker. Attractive tan cushions with subtle blue flecks and blue piping. Faux teak and holly sole. A huge enclosed head with en-suite shower to starboard. The galley is to port with single-burner butane stove, stainless sink and microwave.
Please call for complete history of this vessel from conception to build to launch. She was kept on a lift and indoor-stored in the off-season with her first owner on the west coast of Florida. We helped the current (second) owner with the purchase and relocation to Cape Cod, where she is now also used seasonally and indoor-stored in the winter.
