Overview
Kept in a covered slip for the past 10 years, this Stunning 40' Jersey must be seen to fully appreciate her condition. This is the 2 stateroom, 1 head/ 1 shower layout, with a large galley down and a Roomy, Comfortable salon. Powered by twin 3208 TA Caterpillar Diesel engines, she cruises at 22 kts and tops out at 27 kts. The bottom has been stripped, Barrier Coated and re- painted with Ablative Antifouling bottom paint. Hull and Cockpit have been painted, Window frames have been painted. Both zones of Heat/ Air Conditioning have been replaced. Through hulls valves replaced, Full engine Svc (heat exchangers, coolers, belts, hoses, water pumps, etc) , Generator Svc too. Lee double spreader outriggers and center rigger are to be included. Amazing Condition. This is what you are likely to say when you come to visit "High Caliber".
She resides in a covered slip, and is wonderfully cared for. Fresh cockpit teak coverboards, fresh cockpit gelcoat with Non-skid, the Decks have been re-sprayed with gel coat, the Hull gets polished every year and the Salon window frames have been repainted with Awl Grip, rebedded also.
Interior Features: The Cabin features 2 zones of reverse cycle Heat and Air Conditioning. The Stateroom Unit was new in '14 and the Salon unit was new in '15. The interior carpet was replaced in '10. There is a new Vizio 23 inch Flat Screen HDTV in the salon, plus a nice DVD & VCR player and Sony Stereo with 6 disk CD player. The L-shaped salon sofa hides a sleeper, plus additional storage.
Galley: Featuring a Full Sized refrigerator/freezer, The galley is 3 steps down, but open to the salon for a "Wide Open" feel. Complete with ample storage and counter space, there is a Convection/Microwave oven, 3 burner electric stove, and large stainless sink. There is a connection for the Central Vacuum system at the steps
Engine Service: All engine services are up-to-date being recently completed by a certified Caterpilar Technician. Fluids & Filters, Belts & Hoses, Coolers & Heat Exchangers were all serviced at 2400 hrs. The 8 kw Westebeake generator was serviced at the same time. Winterization connections were added when the Through Hull Fittings were replaced 2 years ago. There is an oil changing system on-board to simplify routine servicing. There is a set of Spare Props to be included. Racor primary fuel filters, with Algae X filters also, Gleninning Engine Synchronizer, Air Seps have been added, Twin Disk 1.5 to 1 transmissions with Hynautic steering and controls, and Dripless Shaft Seals.
Fishing Featues: Included with "High Caliber" are a set of Lee Sr double spreader outriggers wih a Center Rigger. There is built in Tackle storage in the cockpit for easy access. Flush mounted rod holders are in the teak covering boards, plus additional stand up rod holders.
Not Included: The owners personal items and tools, plus the Cockpit Step Box are not included with the sale of the vessel.
