With her full beam spacious interior, 360 degree view flybridge and fuel sipping 110 hp Volvo diesel engine this Manatee is the perfect boat for a couple cruising the Great Loop or other coastal cruising. In 2016 she has had many upgrades including:

  • New water hoses on the engine and fuel fill

Manatee 36 Walkthrough

You can board this Manatee on either port or starboard side via the cockpit lift out doors or through the transom via the drop down boarding gate. Once in the large cockpit you can either go up the starboard side ladder to the upper deck where you have access to the flybridge and foredeck or in the double doors to the salon. Once in the spacious salon you can move forward to starboard to the large U-shaped galley to port and the head with separate shower stall is to starboard. The master stateroom with centered queen berth is forward in the bow.

Manatee 36 Accommodations

This vessel can sleep two in the master stateroom and one on the salon built in bench seat to starboard. There is plenty of room in the salon for an air mattress if needed.

Manatee 36 Cockpit

The Manatee features a larger covered cockpit with plenty of room for multiple chairs for entertaining or even a table and chairs for dining outside. The cockpit has boarding doors on either side and a fold down boarding gate that can be used as a swim platform or for loading or unloading a tender. There is storage in the lazarette and a separate hatch for access to the generator and shaft seal. Double teak and glass doors open to the salon and a six rung ladder leads to the upper deck and flybridge.

Manatee 36 Salon

The full beam spacious salon with large windows to port, starboard and aft, a built in padded bench seat to starboard, a table with four chairs and an entertainment center in the port forward corner makes this room the center for entertaining or relaxing inside the boat. There is plenty of open space to port for a couple of recliners or an L-shaped sofa sleeper. An opening with bi-fold blinds provides a view from the salon to the galley and can be used as a pass through when preparing or cleaning up from meals. Access to the engine room is through the teak parquet salon sole.

Manatee 36 Galley

This boat features a large U-shaped galley with plenty of storage, a large window for natural light and a teak parquet sole. The galley features:

  • A NorCold 12vdc/120vac refrigerator with separate freezer (2016)
  • Force 10 four burner Gas stove with oven
  • Westbend microwave oven (2016)
  • Dual basin stainless steel sink
  • Mr. Coffee coffee maker

Manatee 36 Head

The head is to starboard adjacent to the galley and features:

  • Raritan electric toilet
  • Teak trimmed vanity with Formica counter top and stainless steel sink
  • Separate shower enclosure with teak grate
  • Large opening window
  • Teak mirrored medicine cabinet

Manatee 36 Master Stateroom

The master stateroom is located in the bow and features a centered queen berth with storage shelves and cabinets at the foot of the berth, two large hanging locker and storage cabinets with drawers to port and a desk with storage shelves to starboard. There are two reading lights above the berth, two port and two starboard portlights and an overhead hatch. The sole is teak parquet.

Manatee 36 Flybridge

The flybridge is completely enclosed with a hardtop and plexiglass windows that provides a full 360 degree visibility for navigation. A new air conditioner (2016) was added to help cool the flybridge and a new Todd helm chair (2016) was also added.  Aft of the helm in the flybridge is a U-shaped bench seat with a large amount of storage.  The helm features:
