Overview
This 2003 36 Luhrs has 440 Yanmars with 850 total hours. She has a wide
beam and Carolina flare combined to provide a comfortable, dry ride in
and a stable platform in the trough. The bridgedeck is clean and
uncluttered and the cockpit is wide and clear. Plenty of room to fight
fish! Your arsenal is complete with a livewell, dual washdowns, coaming
fishbox, rod holders, tackle drawers and bait prep stations. After a
long day of trolling and running, you'll appreciate the accommodations
below. A wide, double berth with a real inner-spring mattress awaits you
as does the fully-lined head with a separate stall shower. The
settee/dinette will seat you for dinner and convert at night into a
double on the lower and a single on the upper to allow for the
flexibility you need for family, friends and crew. Any chef will
appreciate the Corian®-covered galley which includes range, microwave,
refrigerator/freezer and plenty of storage. The best part of the 36 Open
is being at the helm. Push the throttles forward and you'll feel the
difference. This ocean-bred hull is made to run the canyons in comfort
and safety. All your electronics are where they need to be and the
visibility is great while either standing or sitting in the oversize
helm seat. Equipped with 6KW Kohler genset, Air Conditioning, Hardtop
Rocket Launchers, cockpit Bolsters, Spreader Lights, Windlass, Oil
Change System, Internal Sea Strainers, Dripless Shaft Logs, Vac-u-flush
Head, 4-sided Curtain Package, Shore Water Connection, Full upper
Station with controls and gauges and more. More Photos to come.
Engine Notes
The Port engine has 450 hours since it was installed after Yanmar replaced the engine in 2010. The engine had a valve seat problem and Yanmar replaced the engine under warranty. At the same time the Head on the Starboard engine was also replaced under warranty by Yanmar because of the Valve seat problem. Total time on the Boat and Starboard engine is only 850 hours.
