Overview

Current owner’s goal, an item on his “bucket list”, was to own a boat long enough to cruise the east coast all the way north to Buffalo, New York, his long-time home, and spend a summer with old friends. THE SATCH ran flawlessly round trip with only an oil change and a fresh bottom paint job while up north. Now that this lifelong dream has been accomplished, the owner has crossed it off his “bucket list” and is ready to move on.

Overview

THE SATCH was previously owned by two older ladies who cruised to the Florida Keys. The current owner’s goal, an item on his “bucket list”, was to own a boat long enough to cruise the east coast all the way north to Buffalo, New York, his long-time home, and spend a summer with old friends. After the purchase, all survey items needing repair were addressed, a dingy and some new electronics were added, and the owner learned to safely run and navigate his newly purchased yacht. He and his wife took a couple of weekly trips locally and then to the Keys, and finally departed for his lifetime cruise north. THE SATCH ran flawlessly round trip with only an oil change and a fresh bottom paint job while up north. Now that this lifelong dream has been accomplished, the owner has crossed it off his “bucket list” and is ready to move on.

Walk-Thru

THE SATCH represents a classic example of the popular Mainship yacht trawler with dual steering stations at the flybridge and in the pilothouse.  The Salon is large and open with a Galley and dining area.  The three-stateroom layout features a Forward Guest Cabin with V-berth, followed by another Guest or Crew Cabin with two single berths, an enclosed head compartment and the Master Cabin aft with a queen berth and en suite bath. The upper deck is spacious and open and the open flybridge has a canvas Bimini top with enclosure.

Entry to THE SATCH is from the swim platform through the transom door into the cockpit. Port and starboard side decks one step up lead forward to the sun deck while a step down leads into the master stateroom aft through its private access door. From the sun deck one walks forward into the salon or up one step to the flybridge.  A U-shaped settee is to port and aft while forward and to port is the Galley. To starboard there is a desk aft, a sofa and the lower helm station amidships. The Master Stateroom located aft can be accessed either through the private sliding door in the cockpit or from the Salon. The Engine Room is accessed from a hatch in the salon sole or through lift-up stairs forward. The two forward guest staterooms are accessed down steps forward of the galley.
