Overview

We all know Ocean Yachts built an amazing amount of 48's and there are some great representations out there.  The difference is there are few like Snow Bank. This owner in 2016 alone has spent over $75,000 to upgrade and enhance systems that you won't see on any other Ocean.  This is one to take a close look at! 

Accommodations

Ocean Yachts since the beginning have done a magnificent job at coming up with new design features to maximize cabin comfort.  This 48 is a perfect example with a huge salon and a comfortable 3 stateroom 2 head layout.

Entering the salon from the Starboard side sliding door you will be impressed with the volume of the salon.  A rich Light Honey Teak with earth tone new (2016) carpeting blend perfectly with the Light Creame leatherette large L shaped Settee to Port which has storage below and the Dinette forward to Starboard with the offset fabric back rest cushions.

Along the Starboard side is the ships electrical panel, wet bar with the Perma Pub liquor selector, new Stainless Steel Wine cooler in 2016 and additional storage cabinet.  There is a high gloss Teak High Lo coffee table by the settee. 

Down 4 stairs to the companionway the Master stateroom is to the Port side.  There is a Queen berth and above to Port there is hanging cabinets for addition storage and a full length hanging lock forward of the berth.  There is also a nigh night stand opposite with storage below.  The master has an en suite head with separate shower stall.  Build in vanity with molded in sink and a mirrored medicine cabinet and Teak and Holly sole.

Forward is the VIP stateroom with a Centerline Queen berth. On either side on the berth there are hanging lockers along with hanging cabinets for addition storage. The VIP and Guest stateroom share the 2nd head with a similar feel to the Master head with the Separate shower stall, built in vanity with molded in sink, Teak and Holly sole, and a mirrored medicine cabinet.

The Guest stateroom offers a unique ability to sleep three with a mattress that rest on a build in storage area with a hanging locker and 4 drawers.  In addition there is a double bert that is set below the Salon dinette to sleep 2 adults very comfortably.

Galley

The Galley is forward to Port in a U shaped arrangement with 2016 Amtico Teak and Holly padded flooring.  The light corona counter top is great for preparation .  All the Stainless Steel appliances are new in May of 2016 to include a Summit Wine Cooler, Dual refrigerator and freezer, and a Whirlpool trash compactor.  In addition there is a  Euro Glass cook top with Microwave, molded in sink , Instant Hot Water, and plenty of drawer and cabinet space. New Galley blower.

Remarks

As you can see this is a above average conditioned 48 Ocean,  Lightly used non fished New England cruiser.  Then you look at what this owner did in 2016 and there is not another 48 that will come close.  The list is long and the upgrades are over the top.  This 48 should be at the top of your list to preview.
