Overview

“Bos Sea” is a very special yacht. Never fished but add out riggers and she is ready to go, the only Ocean 56 Super Sport on the market with MTU’s. All new flybridge enclosure and A/C, many upgrades, be sure to read the full listing and come see for yourself a very special yacht!

Introduction

 "Bos Sea” is the only Ocean Yachts 56 Super Sport on the market with an MTU power plant. At the time she was built MTU was working hard to enter the marine market. In order to stand out MTU created and power plant designed from the bottom up for the harsh marine environment. Features like titanium plates in the raw water heat exchangers mean that the engines run cooler and last longer with no hot spots. More over pushing a 65,000 pound yacht with great efficiency was achieved. “Bos Sea” burns 34 gal/hr. at 18 knots, and only 60 gal/hr. at 28 knots. She also has dual electronics just in case a fault occurred in the control computer. She will not be dead in the water.

On the Flybridge she has a new full enclosure (2012) with state of the art UV Easy-to-Sea-Why panels made with zippers and snaps that are highly resistant to UV rays. At the same time the Owner added 16,000 BTU of Air Conditioning to make the ride pleasant in all conditions. For Navigation there is a new Garmin system along with the standard full complement of Furuno Electronics.

“Bos Sea” has never been fished.

Accommodations

 "Bos Sea" has the standard Ocean 56 Super Sport layout with three staterooms/three heads, galley up and spacious lounge area. Her Owner selected custom fabrics throughout the interior spaces which enhance the look of the yacht.

Owner's Stateroom

This stateroom is a full beam master a mid-ships with spacious cedar lined hanging lockers, many storage drawers and a full in suite head with shower.

VIP Stateroom

This stateroom has a center line queen berth with walk around access, in suite head with shower, and plenty of places to stow quest belongings.

Third Stateroom

This stateroom has transverse, over and under, twin size bunks, again with storage for personal items, and a full head.
