Overview

"Arabella" is a one of a kind, iconic 157' tri-masted staysail schooner custom built by Palmer Johnson. She was originally built in 1983 but underwent a hull extension and brought up to USCG Standards in 2000. Not only is "Arabella" a classic beauty, she also offers all of the best modern conveniences for sailing, including automated rigging, running gear, navigational equipment and a single inboard 500HP Caterpillar making any outing on her as memorable as this classic beauty herself.

Arabella's current configuration works as a dual platform.  She can either be run as a very large multiple guest charter operation or as a private vessel with the capacity and comfortable accommodations for large groups.  She is USCG Certified for 40 overnight guests underway while also accommodating 9 crew members.  Her daytime USCG certification allows for 149 persons aboard while underway within a mile of shore or in her berth.  You may have seen her in Bermuda for the 2017 America's Cup or maybe cruising the waters of Long Island Sound and through the Hamptons.  Whichever port "Arabella" is moored she truly stands out as a one of a kind.
