Upon entering the salon through the electric door you are immediately impressed by the interior size and craftsmanship that greets you. Attention to detail is evident throughout from the detailed trim work to the incorporation of the many tasteful decorative touches. The galley is loaded with amenities that would make traveling and feeding a big crew easy. The generous refrigeration and freezer options located on both sides of the galley and salon countertop are appreciable. Seating for four at the dinette table adds to space and comfort while at the dock or underway. Paul Mann and his craftsmen were one of the first to utilize an offset stairwell and companionway creating more space where it counts. To port, a comfortable VIP stateroom contains stack bunks generous storage space. To starboard a large guest head and shower is located just before the huge master is located to the starboard of the winding companionway. Bolstered vinyl wall covering and luxurious trim work throughout this master shares the feel of home. The large master head is just as impressive with a custom glass shower door, cherry wood sole and large surroundings. Back in the companionway, you will notice a large volume of storage in the cabinets that line the curved wall as you progress forward. The guest stateroom is located forward. There, you will find a large center berth flanked by two single hanging berths. Drawer and cabinet space is abundant throughout. A large closet space is customizable for a tackle locker or washer/dryer.
The salon is quite pleasing to the eye with beautiful cherry wood finish and trim. Large and comfortable with an L shaped white leather sofa to port. The sofa has storage within. To starboard is the main ship's service breaker panel behind stylish cabinetry. Also located to starboard is a swivel based reclining chair adjacent to a small library area. The 4 seat dinette is located to starboard. The salon is carpeted with a beige patterned Berber carpet where it transitions to a real cherry and holly sole in the galley and dinette area. The galley layout is very maneuverable and the countertops are dressed with a beautiful blue patterned Namibia Granite. Additional features of the salon and galley include:
The impressively large master stateroom is perhaps one of the classiest designed to be found in a custom built sport fisherman. The cherry wood joinery and trim work surrounding the queen berth is simply stylish and provides an elegant appearance with wood columns framing the shape of the queen berth. A small but convenient make up table with a mirrored lift top and automatic lighting is well placed within the room. Drawers and cabinet space are abundant. The ensuite head and shower are quite spacious as well. Moen decorative faucets and a custom glass shower door add flavor to the decor. Other features of the master stateroom are:
The crew stateroom is located to port at the beginning of the companionway. A set of over and under berths sleep two comfortably in a nicely sized living space. This area has plenty of cabinets and drawer space.
The VIP stateroom is located forward and was designed to sleep a modest sized family. With a centerline queen berth flanked by twin hanging single berths this stateroom room is comfortably large. The cherry wood finish provides a look of luxury. There is a large closet space that once housed a washer/dryer. This space is empty at this time and could be finished into a custom tackle locker or returned to it's original use. The plumbing and electrical hookup are in place should it be needed again. The VIP stateroom has maximum storage space in it's many drawers and hanging locker.
The engine room was designed for ease operation and includes many redundant features. This makes the "Rare Breed" an ideal world wide travel boat.
The cockpit area is large by design and has several nice features.
This is a big bridge and a superb layout with a lot of seating area. The main electronics console is accessed by an actuator and can is height adjustable for the user. A comfortable seating arrangement and two helm chairs offers complete passenger and crew comfort.
