Overview

S/Y ANTARA is a 46-metre motor sailing ketch built by the renowned Perini Navi shipyard. While initially launched in 1991, she has benefitted from a 2016, 2017 and 2019 complete comprehensive refits where nearly every aspect of her machinery, interior and exterior, was upgraded. During the most recent yard period, ANTARA also completed her 30 year ABS survey. 

ANTARA can accommodate eight guests in four varnished satin teak staterooms with en-suite heads. The full-width master suite with king bed, his and her bath and new steam shower include a large office area and cleverly concealed exercise area with a stationary bike and weights custom fit into an armoire for a private gym area with a flat-screen TV. 

The VIP stateroom with a queen bed has an en-suite head and shower. The two twin cabins each have two extra-large twin berths and two Pullmans with en-suite heads and showers. 

All staterooms are newly redecorated with Italian linens and Italian Carrara marble. The interior main deck is bright and cosy and divided into the forward dining/bar area and the formal living room aft area. 

Large windows allow ambient light into the entire main deck. The main saloon aft boasts two large couches and several chairs, and a large square centre table. 

The forward wall has a 50” LCD TV hidden behind retractable artwork. Surround sound and Crestron controlled A/V systems via iPads throughout the yacht. 

The flybridge is quite large and open, seating forward behind the dual steering stations and a hot tub aft surrounded by sunbathing/ lounging pads. The covered aft cockpit provides a perfect place for al fresco dining with a second table set. 

She also has a new swim platform that extends from the transom to facilitate easy entry to the sea for swimming or access to the tender. 

ANTARA is an accomplished sailing vessel demonstrated by wins at various regattas, including the St. Barths Bucket, Palma, Superyacht Cup, and Perini Navi Cup. Antara is in Class, Commercially compliant with a strong charter history.
