MAN 1100 HP V-12 Engines on Lipps-Riva-Calzoni Jet Drives. About 10 MPH faster than Shafts. 46 MPH. Both engines rebuilt at 445 Hrs. to incorporate a piston upgrade in 1996. 831.6 & 831.0 hours since engine rebuild/upgrades, 1276.5 hours total time.

Complete valve job / replacement at 560 Hrs. with improved units in 2003-2004. The heads were sent to Scott Marine Power, Ft. Lauderdale. The injector pumps were also done for good measure by Clean Air Fuel Systems in Boca Raton. The heads have all been re-torqued as per spec. Intercoolers and heat exchangers also cleaned. New circulating pumps and block heaters installed.

The “Ripe & Ready” burns 51 USG per hour running 46 MPH at WOT (Wide Open Throttle), but the boat is not operated at this speed!

The owner’s Captain reports that he typically runs at the boat at 2,000 RPM’s, at 36 MPH, and he is burning about 40 GPH per engine.

Therefore, 940 gallons consumed at 80 GPH = 11.75 Hours of run time. So at 36 MPH x 11.75 = 423 Mile max range.

According to the original brochure, the tankage is; Fuel 940 gal. (4300L), Water 153 gal. (700L), Holding tank 58 gal. (220L).
