ALBIN
ALBIN represents the yachts for the northern seas
ALBIN is a brand that celebrated its 110th anniversary in 2009. Albin Motor Company was founded in 1899 in Sweden. During the early years they made the boats and marine diesel engines. Later the shipyard was renamed to Albin Marine, and in 1966 the brand entered the world market with a line of motor and sailing yachts. Now it is an international company with manufacturing facilities in the United States (Portsmouth), Sweden and Taiwan. Since 1966 it is headed by Fred Peters. Since 1981, the subdivision specializing in the marine engines, was bought by Volva Penta.
The company manufactures the yachts in keeping with the best traditions of northern shipbuilding. The ALBIN vessels navigate in the North Sea and are able to cope with the most difficult weather conditions. The model range is presented by the boats and yachts with diesel engines. Excellent driving performance, stability on water, strength of the hull are the main advantages of Albin Marine boats.
Attention to the finishing is not the surprise for yachts - even for those that are designed for the northern waters. Albin Marine makes well-considered interiors, where nothing is superfluous, enough space for the captain, crew and passengers, and there is everything you may need during a long journey.
The ALBIN yacht is a place of luxury: the finewood is often used for finishing of the cabins. But this luxury is undemonstrative: a lot more attention is given to the technical characteristics. Despite the fact that the company no longer deals with the motors, there are still specialists able to choose and assemble the equipment so that the boat will have the best technical specifications.
