CAMMENGA - the classic sailing yachts

CAMMENGA is a Dutch shipyard that was located in Wormerveer village near Amsterdam. The company was closed in the 70's of last century, leaving behind a rich legacy. This shipyard launched the yachts, schooners and trawlers. Some boats were designed by the famous designer Willem de Vries Lentsch. The collection of ships produced at the shipyard, includes the sailing schooners.

Such vessels have been developed in the shipyard as Noordzee (18.5 meters), Atlantic (22 meters) and Pacific (25 meters). They also manufactured a series of three classic schooners Magistral, Marline and Johann Smidt.

After closing of the shipyard, the vessels produced were quartering the seas for a long time. Some time later, some of the owners began to sell the boats. The dealers who took up the sale of the ships, renovated some yachts. Today, the customer may become the owner of one of the schooners and yachts of the well-known Dutch manufacturer.

The boats made on the Dutch shipyard, continue to please people with their durability and classic outlines of the hulls. Some vessels seem to be too heavy, but they are just made in the style, widespread during the last century. The massiveness is balanced with reliability and durability. The CAMMENGA boats can serve for more than one decade.
