COVEY ISLAND BOAT WORKS - the high-tech vessels from Nova Scotia

The COVEY ISLAND BOAT WORKS shipyard was established on Covey Island - an island in Nova Scotia. The company was founded in 1979 by John Steele with two partners. The first ships of the shipyard were canoes and kayaks. The boats were originally made of composite wood with epoxy resins.

Later, the company switched to the commercial vessels, and in 1984 began to produce the speedboats. Then the shipyard began to work on other types of boats, including the cruise yachts, boats for cruising and racing purposes, as well as on classic yachts. Some of the ships are designed for family trips.

The range of the yachts of the shipyard includes the boats for sailors who love sea journeys. Such vessels are designed for life in the sea. They are equipped with everything necessary for a long stay on board, including reliable desalination plants.

In 2013, the shipyard moved to Lunenburg. Now the construction of vessels of this company is taken place in Lunenburg Marina. The sellers offer both the old and new boats of the company. COVEY ISLAND BOAT WORKS is one of the well-known brands the yachts under which are distributed worldwide.
