DENISON

DENISON - the family traditions of the yacht building

DENISON is a family business, founded by Frank Denison in the USA. Frank established Broward Marine that has later gained popularity in America and around the world. Frank is credited with the first installation of diesel engines on the yachts.

In 1948 Denison renamed his company into Broward Marine and was soon engaged in the construction of megayachts. These were some of the finest yachts in the world that were repeatedly exhibited at the boat shows. The DENISON vessels got excellent seaworthiness, high performance and luxury design. Each yacht built here is exclusive.

Initially the DENISON boats were made entirely of wood, but since the 60s they started to build the aluminum yachts. In the 70th the hulls were made of aluminum only. At that time, the company launched the second site due to which the shipyard was able to build up to 12 ships per year.

DENISON owns a lot of innovations in the world of yacht building. It was here when the triple diesel engines were used for the first time.

Frank's sons continued their father's work. Some of them found themselves in the brokerage, others opened their own shipyards. For example, Denison Marine produces the high-speed vessels longer than 100 feet capable of developing more than 30 knots.

The DENISON family is still engaged in yachting and developing several projects.
