FRANCHINI

FRANCHINI - the family traditions

FRANCHINI is an Italian shipyard established in the port of Riccione in 1945. Immediately after the war, the founder of the shipyard began construction of his own vessels. He already had the rich experience in yacht building, because he worked in the largest shipbuilding companies. In 1953 Michele Franchini detto 'Guido' switched to the construction of wooden pleasure boats that have gained popularity. They used mostly mahogany and teak.

In the 60s the company concluded the first big contracts. The shipyard built the beautiful sailing schooners and boats made of wood. In the 70s the shipyard began to cooperate with Norberto Ferretti. Thus they made the first motor boat with a flybridge. Later FRANCHINI began to improve this model. Even 10 years later, in the 80s, the company began to use innovations. The manufacturer switched to fiberglass and introduced a number of other technologies. The mahogany in combination with fiberglass made the boats of this mark almost eternal.

Later, the company returned to the construction of sailing ships, combining their achievements in the construction of motor boats with a noble postwar past, when the father-founder of the company was developing the sailing ships. However, in the new millennium FRANCHINI began to produce again both the sailing and motor yachts. Today the shipyard with half a century of history and rich experience can offer the respectable ships with extensive functionality.

The customers order the yachts here individually or buy the mass production models. The serial boats of Franchini are amenable even for the most demanding customers. They are elegant, modern and maneuverable.
