Halkitis Urania

Halkitis Urania is a Greek shipyard, located near Athens, on the coast of the Aegean Sea. The company was established in 1922 and initially specialized in the construction, repair and maintenance of wooden boats.

In 1994, the shipyard was modernized. It got new premises and modern equipment. Halkitis Urania established its own production and management methods, and soon gained the place of one of the leaders in its segment. Today it is a modern shipyard that builds the high-end vessels, and carries out maintenance and upgrade of the yachts.

Halkitis Urania is building and repairing the sailing catamarans, single-hull vessels and motor boats. The yachts are custom-made.

The shipyard occupies 24 thousand square meters. The area is equipped with the lifts for boats and other modern equipment. They work with the hulls and the technical equipment, and even with the electrics. The boat can have a water purification system installed on request.

Halkitis Urania is an advanced shipyard, where they follow the traditions, but do not use the old technology only. In the future (befor 2020) the company will construct a new building for the construction and repair of mega yachts up to 60 meters in length.
