LIBERTY YACHTS

LIBERTY YACHTS is a company that has left its mark in the history of shipbuilding in Taiwan and around the world. The sailing boats of Liberty are known among the sailors, and the designs used for their construction, are copied by many shipyards.

The history of LIBERTY YACHTS began in the late 60s with Peter Hoyt and his associates. Having arrived in Taiwan and worked with Freedom Yachts and other companies, Peter implemented three projects and was able to organize the construction of 50 sailing yachts.

It all started with Formoza 47 that was the basis of the new Liberty 49. This yacht was custom-made for a small family shipyard Shin Fa. Later, the new boat was developed - Liberty 458, and at the end - Gatsby 39.

The history of LIBERTY YACHTS ended in 1989, but the boats are still interesting for the sailors. These unique designs that were exhibited at the boat shows, attracted the attention with a successful structure and design. These sailing ships have everything that is appreciated by an experienced sailor. They are not so large, but due to the well-considered layout any of these yachts can accommodate the advanced equipment, and supplies required for long-distance travel.
