NEW ENGLAND BOATWORKS - the heavy-duty sports vessels

The NEW ENGLAND BOATWORKS shipyard has been operating in Portsmouth, USA since 1988. The manufacturer uses only the reliable and durable materials: stainless steel, aluminum and titanium, and composites. The founders of the shipyard can be considered such personalities as Tom Rich, Steve Casella and David MacBain. The company has its own prehistory. Since 1983, its founders have been monitoring the development of the production of sports ships. And they decided to do something more outstanding.

Being unsatisfied with the results of other shipyards, these fans of sports yachts began to build their boats. At first, the construction took place in different locations - one of the founders produced the ships where he lived. In 1988, they joined forces, attracted investors and established a full-fledged business. By that time the organizers already had several completed projects.

Today the shipyard is still working in the field of sports yacht building. However, in addition to sports vessels they are building the yachts for travel, pleasure crafts and boats made of composites. The composite yachts are more lightweight, they are ideal for small trips. But for sporting regattas and long journeys the company uses the hulls made of steel and aluminum.

The composites allow to implement the individual design ideas - this material is more amenable to molding. The shipyard has produced dozens of models of ships that are regularly ordered by the private clients. The main customers of the company are the individuals who need the ship for traveling, leisure or sport.
