OCEA FRANCE was founded in 1987, and for the good reason. The shipyard was opened by purchasing an older shipbuilding company - POUVREAU. This organization had 50 years of experience in the production of aluminum ships. The company was joined by the shipyard UNION & TRAVAIL (1917) in 1990 and the shipbuilder LE BASTION in 1995.

Thus, the company is combining the experience and skills of several organizations. They became the basis for the development of unique know-how and technology for the production of megayachts. The vessels of OCEA FRANCE are made of aluminum, following the traditions pf POUVREAU. This is the best material for large and complex ships that are designed for long-distance journeys - it is the opinion of the organizers.
