PETERSON - a genius in the world of yacht design

PETERSON is a range of vessels, built according to the designs of architect Doug Peterson. He began designing the racing and cruising yacht in 1873. In the mid-70s his works were dominated by the racing vessels, such as Ganbare, Gumboots, Kindred Spirit, Vendetta, Racy, Great Pumpkin, Petrified, High Noon, Anabelle Lee, High Roler, Country Girl, Louisiana Crude, Stinger, Checkmate, Eclipse, Yena, Rubin, Ragamuffin and Moonshine.

Doug Peterson owned the projects of such legendary ships as Contessa 35 and Serendipity 43. The architect worked mainly on the sailboats. The developer created the projects for Jack Kelly Yachts and Hans Christian Yachts. Thus the following models were produced: Christina, Liberty 458, Delta 46 Peterson 44 and Kelly Peterson 46. The boats of this designed won Black Magic Team New Zealand. In 2000, Peterson developed the winning Louis Vuitton Cup for Prada.

The ships that were built according to the designs by Peterson, have already entered the world shipbuilding history. These cruising and racing sailboats are the gold standard and true classics.
