Rio Yachts

The Rio Yachts shipyard was established in the 60s of the last century. It was founded by Luigi Scarani and his wife. The shipbuilding company initially produced the wooden boats and speedboats for private clients. The vessels were hand-built. It took quite a lot of time, but the company had time to satisfy a great demand. In the 60's there was a period of economic recovery, and there were a lot of people wanting to buy the ships.

In the 70s the shipyard shifted from the manual labor to the use of molds - the company moved on to new material. In the 60's, few people used the composites and polymers, but in the 70s, many companies switched to a new type of production. The market was flooded with composite ships, but demand for them was not fallen yet. During this period, Luigi Scarani began to cooperate with other organizations, releasing the joint projects.

Rio Yachts gained a respectable status in the 80-90s, when the shipyard began to produce the boats not only for the private clients. The organization has already established itself as a reliable business partner. The shipyard built the patrol boats and several commercial yachts.

Today, the company continues to develop. They are still using modern materials - there are not any analogues to polymers and composites yet. The manufacturer supplies the yachts to the different markets. The shipbuilding company is gaining popularity in such places where people still do not know about it. In the construction of the yachts the manufacturer adheres to the classic Italian standards. The boats are distinguished by the design typical for the Italian ships.
