Overview

SAFE PASSAGE is the newest 77 Hatteras on the market today built in 2010.

SAFE PASSAGE sleeps 8 guests in 5 cabins + separate crew accommodations that double as a 6th cabin if run by an owner/operator.

Featuring twin MTU 16V2000 2400hp engines with just over 1,000 hours (1,000hr service completed in 6/2016) she is the lowest hour 77 on the market by far.

In 2012 Keypower hydraulic stabilizers were installed featuring 9ft/sq fins making her the only stabilized 77 Hatteras on the market.

Captain maintained since new SAFE PASSAGE is in excellent condition and is priced to sell.

WALKTHROUGH

SALON & GALLEY
Entering the main salon from the mezzanine area you notice the high gloss cherry décor found throughout the yacht with teak & holly floors that continue through the salon & galley area. 

Immediately to port, you have a day head to complete with sink & toilet. Just forward of the day head are the curved staircases leading to the upper sky lounge.

To starboard, you have an l-shaped settee finished in chocolate leather. Opposite of the settee and underneath the custom marble counter & bar area is a massive flush mounted flat screen TV and two refrigerator drawers.

The open galley has beautiful marble counters & backsplash, two bar stools, and all the amenities you would expect in a first-class chef’s galley such as convection oven, refrigerator & freezer drawers, microwave, sink, trash compactor, and plenty of pantry space.

Forward to starboard, you have the dining area that comfortably seats 6 with yet another large flat screen TV mounted on the bulkhead.

GUEST ACCOMMODATIONS
Moving forward of the salon you have a centerline companionway that leads down into the guest accommodations. 

To starboard, you have the entrance to the full beam master cabin ensuite. What’s impressive about this cabin is not only the sheer volume, but you have direct access to the engine room through a hidden sound insulated water-tight bulkhead door.

Continuing forward towards the bow you have the spacious VIP ensuite cabin to port complete with hanging lockers & drawer storage. 

Opposite to starboard you have the smallest cabin featuring a single berth complete with hanging locker & drawer storage. This would cabin would also serve as the captain’s cabin if you didn’t want to be an owner-operator. 

All the way forward you have a split cabin layout that features two separate single cabins that are joined by a shared head complete with shower, sink, and large shower. This bathroom would also be shared by the smaller third cabin mentioned above. 

This 5-cabin layout comfortably sleeps 7 guests. This is layout would work great for a family with multiple children.

We also have plans to convert the forward two cabins into the more common center line VIP queen cabin. Multiple quotes have been provided for this conversion ranging from $90,000-125,000 including a quote from Hatteras themselves. 

SKYLOUNGE
Walking up the curved staircase from the salon you enter the upper skylounge. 

This space is utilized nicely. You have a raised l-shape settee to the aft starboard area. Just forward you have an office area great for an owner operator or captain. 

Opposite of the desk area you have built in cabinets with refrigerator drawers and above that a hanging flat screen TV that can swivel. 

All the way forward you have the helm area complete with centerline captain’s chair. The helm itself is extremely impressive with 7 flat screen monitors and plenty of visibility. 

The exterior of the sky lounge has a nice sitting area and wing stations to both port & starboard with the starboard station featuring GPS, fish finder, autopilot & radio as well as bow & stern thruster which is found at all 4 control stations. 

COCKPIT
The cockpit is just under 200 square feet and features a teak sole, spacious mezzanine, fighting chair, tuna door, ice shipper, plenty of refrigerator & freezer space as well as a full helm station located to port. You also have a hanging flat screen TV to port just over the helm station. 

BOW
Stainless steel rails start just forward of the cockpit and run all the way to the bow pulpit making it very safe walking forward. 

The bow has a davit and centerline chocks. To give you an idea of the size of tender that the boat is capable of carrying, SAFE PASSAGE currently carries a 15ft Novurania with 90hp Honda outboard (not included in the sale, but can be discussed)

ENGINE ROOM
Engine room access is either from the master cabin or from the cockpit. 

Featuring twin MTU 2,400hp engines with just under 1,100 original hours (as of Nov 17’) and twin 27kw Onan generators with around 5,000 hours each. 

Unique is that SAFE PASSAGE is stabilized with 9 sq/ft fins making her the only stabilized 77 Hatteras on the market and the only one I am aware of in the world.

ENCLOSED BRIDGE
The enclosed bridge is well thought out and is an ideal combination of helm area and sky lounge. The starboard aft section of the lounge area features a raised L-shaped settee for additional guest seating and navigational desk forward.
