This stunning yacht is a prime example of the CCA rule from the sixties, still captivating sailors and onlookers alike. Actual Condition

The sail inventory and rigging of "Tara" are impressive:

• New 13oz 105% Jib
• New 10oz 150% Jib
• New 8oz 170% Jib
• Older main sail, double-stitched and still robust
• Headstay and backstay replaced in 1994

Overall, "Tara" is a strong and swift vessel, equipped with self-tailing winches, a coffee grinder, new sails, and numerous ongoing upgrades. While she may soon require a fresh coat of paint, her charm and readiness to sail remain intact.

The 54' Luders yacht stands approximately 17' tall and cannot be transported overland. It can only be launched at the Mattapoisett waterfront during high tide.
