Baia Italia 70 "Lioness"

With her unmistakable lines and Arneson surface drives, the Baia 70 "Lioness" stands as one of the most iconic high-performance yachts of the past two decades. Following an extensive refit completed between 2023 and 2025, she offers a rare blend of exhilarating performance and refined Italian design. Powered by two Caterpillar C32 Acert 1825HP engines, Lioness cruises effortlessly at 40 knots and can reach up to 52 knots, providing a truly thrilling experience for any speed enthusiast.

Every mechanical system has been overhauled to ensure long-term reliability and peace of mind. Accommodation includes three elegant staterooms for six guests, plus a generously sized crew cabin for two, which is virtually unmatched in her category. A 2024 Williams Turbojet 325 is neatly housed in the tender garage, ready for your next adventure.

On deck, a spacious bow sunbed invites all-day relaxation, while a mid-ship vertical door and retractable roof seamlessly transform the main deck into an open-air experience. Lioness is arguably the finest high-performance cruiser available today, and viewings are highly recommended.

The refit included a total boat painting and new teak flooring across the deck. New inverter units, two Climma DC70 with 35,000 BTU each, were installed, along with an additional fan coil on the deck and a complete revamp of the existing ones. The yacht features new freshwater piping, a new main electrical panel in the engine room, and an upgrade in the secondary electrical panel. Two new battery chargers, four new engine batteries, and fourteen new service batteries have been added. A stern thruster was installed, and the bow thruster was completely revamped. The yacht boasts a brand new water maker and ice maker, new through hull valves, and new piping for fresh, grey, and black water, along with a larger black water tank. A new 24V water pump was installed in the bilge area, and new insulation material was added in the engine room.

The garage door and the entire area have been completely revamped, and the Opacmare gangway has been totally rebuilt, including mechanical and electronic systems, painting, and new teak. The anchor windlass, table, deck door, hardtop hydraulics, and deck winch have all been revamped. New smart TVs have been installed in all cabins, along with a TV on deck, Sonos soundbars, deck speakers, a Sonos Move speaker, and a 5G Wi-Fi system. A second generator, Whisper Power WP Piccolo10, was installed, and the existing Onan 19kVA generator was completely rebuilt.

New installations include a GPS (Raymarine Axiom XL16), Radar (Quantum Q24d Doppler 18), a Flir camera (model M300C stabilized), a new depth meter, and an engine room camera. The yacht also features a new Epirb and a new VHF (iCOM IC-M510). The cabin walls have been revamped, the galley surface bench has been completely revamped with Corian material, the master bathroom flooring has been replaced, and all interior walls in the heads and the interior floor have been repainted. New tapestry adorns all exterior lounging and interior seating areas, with new bed lining and cushions. LED lights have been installed in cabins and on the exterior and interior deck. New mattresses have been placed in all beds, and all carpets have been replaced. A blackout has been installed in the master cabin.

New plexiglass has been fitted in the deck door, new tempered windows on the upper deck, and new plexiglass lining on the left hull. Custom-made plexiglass holders for glasses, a Sonos speaker, galley shelves, and ceiling light covers have been added. The yacht is equipped with two new liferafts, ropes, fenders, life vests, and an additional anchor chain, totaling 120 meters.
