Galaxsea is a five-cabin Bali 5.4 sailing catamaran purpose-built for charter. She operates within a well-run, crewed luxury charter yacht program performing strongly throughout the Virgin Islands.

This multihull is outfitted with a wide array of water toys, a quality tender, a hydraulic tender lift, and an exceptionally busy booking calendar.

Electrical equipment

Seamless onboard power is assured with a shore power inlet for reliable dockside energy, a generator to carry true autonomy far from the marina, and an inverter that quietly delivers household-grade AC from the batteries so essential systems stay live under way or at anchor.

Electronics

Command and clarity converge at the navigation center, where a plotter, GPS, compass, autopilot, and VHF coordinate every passage with confidence. Precision data from the depthsounder, log-speedometer, and wind speed and direction sensors flows to the helm for informed decisions in any weather. Between landfalls, onboard entertainment is effortless with a TV set, DVD player, CD player, radio, and cockpit speakers that bring rich sound and vivid picture to the heart of the yacht.

Inside equipment

Life aboard is refined and self-sufficient with air conditioning and hot water, an electric head, a refrigerator, a deep freezer, and a freshwater maker extending comfort and range. The galley is fully appointed with a dishwasher, oven, and microwave oven, while a sea water pump streamlines cleanups and provisioning. For safety and resilience, an electric bilge pump stands ready with manual bilge pump backup, all supported by a diligent battery charger to keep power reserves at their peak.

Outside equipment

Out on deck, easy pleasures abound: a cockpit shower refreshes after a swim, a secure swimming ladder invites effortless reboarding, and generous cockpit cushions gather guests around a sturdy cockpit table. A capable tender extends your reach ashore, while a liferaft delivers invaluable peace of mind for extended bluewater passages.

Rigging

Confident handling begins at the responsive steering wheel and continues with powerful sail control, where an electric winch makes trimming effortless and a hydraulic winch delivers commanding torque when the breeze rises.

Sails

The sail plan balances power and poise with a fully battened mainsail that holds a crisp, efficient shape and a furling genoa that reefs and stows in moments, adapting instantly to shifting conditions.
