Twin Caterpillar C32 diesels (1,652 hp each; 3,304 hp total) propel FOOTLOOSE to a spirited 26-knot top end and an economical 18-knot cruise. Her 5,300-gallon fuel capacity delivers a 1,267-nm range, ideal for transoceanic runs or carefree island-hopping, while Quantum zero-speed stabilizers ensure hushed, velvety motion and unwavering poise at anchor or underway.

Upgrades and rebuilds

Engine warranties remain in effect until June 2026, underscoring a meticulously executed program of enhancements. In June 2024 the port engine and transmission received a three-thousand-hour service, while the starboard engine and transmission benefited from a two-thousand-hour service, and in the same year the engine exhaust brackets and lagging were replaced. Throughout 2023 the running gear and steering were comprehensively addressed with the port propeller shaft replaced, the propeller shaft seals and propeller shaft bearings renewed, and the steering cylinders overhauled. In 2022 the AC generators had all serviceable components serviced or rebuilt as necessary. In 2021 the hull’s wetted surface was stripped to bare substrate and recoated with protective barrier coats and fresh antifouling, the thrusters and stabilizers were serviced, and the watermaker membranes were replaced. In 2020 a Maretron tank levels monitoring system was added alongside a Yacht Controller wireless vessel control system to elevate ease of operation. Additional refinements include a water purifier, a dedicated ventilation system for the aft shore power transformer, an engine room engine start battery parallel, an additional radar and VHF radio, an infrared camera, and a GOST remote monitoring system covering bilge levels, smoke, and doors. Practical finishing touches further include a custom removable reboarding ladder, a replacement 400-foot anchor chain, new exterior door gaskets, and tinted windows.

Master stateroom main deck

The master stateroom on the main deck is equipped with a Samsung 40-inch TV, a universal remote-control box, a Samsung DVD player, a Direct TV receiver (DirectTV HD), and a Yamaha AV receiver, all safeguarded by an APC battery back-up to ensure uninterrupted, high-fidelity entertainment.

Guest staterooms 1 & 2

Both guest staterooms are thoughtfully equipped for effortless entertainment, featuring a Samsung 27-inch TV complemented by a Fusion AV650 stereo/DVD, a Direct TV receiver, and a Xantech remote control box for intuitive, centralized control.

Salon

Commanding the salon’s entertainment suite is a Samsung 50-inch TV, complemented by a 40-inch screen in the sky lounge, all orchestrated through a URC MX-890 programmable remote and a universal remote-control box. Rich, theater-like sound flows from a Yamaha RX-V681 AV receiver, with content served by a Samsung DVD player, a DirecTV HD receiver, a Sirius satellite radio receiver reserved for salon-only enjoyment, and a KVH satellite TV control box dedicated to the salon. Elsewhere onboard, a 21-inch TV serves the galley. In the captain and crew quarters, components are shared aside from the televisions themselves, which comprise two Samsung 28-inch sets paired with a Panasonic DVD-S53 DVD player.

Galley & household equipment

The galley is anchored by a stainless-steel double sink with disposal, complemented by a Samsung refrigerator, Samsung dishwasher, Samsung oven, and a Samsung microwave for seamless culinary workflow. A five-burner glass-top range offers precise control for gourmet preparation, while a Sub-Zero wine cooler keeps vintages at the perfect temperature and an under-counter Sub-Zero refrigerator-freezer maximizes cold storage. In the sky lounge, a Landmark refrigerator/ice maker ensures refreshments are always on hand.

Upper deck and skylounge

Designed for convivial living and effortless entertaining, the upper deck and skylounge feature a single stainless-steel sink, a Scotsman chest-type icemaker, and a Fire Magic stainless-steel LPG BBQ, complemented by a 40-inch Samsung TV and a Landmark refrigerator/icemaker dedicated to the skylounge.

Crew quarters

Thoughtfully appointed for efficiency and comfort, the crew quarters include a Summit microwave paired with a Summit refrigerator, a GE drawer refrigerator for quick-access provisioning, and a Summit freezer to expand cold storage capacity, while a Kenmore laundry center ensures seamless onboard care of linens and uniforms.
