Detailed Description
Yacht description and details
This vessel is a fully equipped 145' Christensen showcasing signature upgrades of the Christensen family. She presents an on-deck master stateroom with office and four additional staterooms midship on the lower deck, each with a spacious ensuite head. High‑gloss painted wood with recessed lighting provides a refined backdrop throughout. A large aft deck, a generous sky lounge for entertaining, and a sun deck with Jacuzzi tub and bar make her an exceptional platform for hosting family and friends or for charter.
Entering the main salon from the aft deck reveals an expanse designed for relaxation and conversation, where a sophisticated interplay of wood, fabrics, stone, and carpet sets a warm tone. A large sofa, love seat, and two chairs gather around an etched‑glass and marquetry coffee table, while a comprehensive AV entertainment system with Crestron control and Lutron “One Touch” electrical lighting elevates the experience. Custom madrona wood columns flank a glass panel etched with shell detail, their tops crowned by metal palm fronds to subtly delineate salon and dining without interrupting the open flow.
The formal dining area centers on a substantial, custom Holland‑made rectangular table that seats ten adults in deeply cushioned comfort. Port and starboard buffet cabinets house fine china, cutlery, and tableware, and a custom painting between the galley and dining can be lowered to reveal a glass window, offering a view into the galley or complete privacy at mealtimes.
Just forward and to port, the galley pairs light‑tone marble with neutral crème cabinetry in an inviting country‑French motif. A custom hood with a light blue “under the sea” tile design crowns the stove, while a large window floods the space with sunshine. Light granite counters, two large sinks, and abundant storage support professional service, complemented by a built‑in Miele coffee espresso machine, countertop grill, Alto‑Shaam smoker, and a sizable pantry just forward with extensive refrigeration and freezer capacity.
Starboard of the galley, the main deck foyer dazzles with a sole of hand‑chipped glass pieces and madrona wood inlays, all arranged over a mirrored surface for depth and sparkle. Spiral glass staircases rise to the sky lounge on the bridge deck and descend to the main guest area below. The day head continues the theme with a glass sink, toilet, and custom wall artwork.
The full‑beam master stateroom, forward on the main deck, combines privacy and grandeur with an office to starboard, vanity, king‑size bed, sofa, and two expansive walk‑in closets with a washer/dryer. High‑gloss painted finishes interplay with natural wood, and silk bulkhead panels, headboards, and accessories frame the bed to soften the room’s elegant lines. The ensuite head features hand‑chipped glass detailing, towel warmers, and granite counters inlaid with fiber optics that glow from beneath, while a walk‑in shower separates “his” and “hers” sides and unveils a waterfall feature that spills in a smooth, mesmerizing sheet.
On the lower deck midship, a guest foyer with marble flooring and chipped‑glass accents leads to four guest staterooms forward of the engine room. Aft to port and starboard lie the queen staterooms, each with generous walk‑around space, while forward twin staterooms offer beds sized to accommodate adults. All four include spacious ensuite heads with large showers, ample counter space, and intricate marble detail, enriched by silk panels and high‑gloss painted wood throughout.
On the bridge deck, the sky lounge is an inviting retreat distinguished by reflective zodiac symbols shimmering overhead. A fully equipped bar with etched‑glass detailing and four large seats anchors the space, which is finished in plush carpet and served by an entertainment center with surround‑sound cinema and a 50" plasma TV. A welcoming seating area and coffee table encourage lingering, and just forward, a day head adds convenience with a glass sink, marble floor, and etched‑glass accents.
Aft of the sky lounge, the covered upper deck invites al fresco dining at a large circular table for ten. Intimate seating areas to port and starboard aft provide private nooks, while a substantial wet bar with sink, refrigerator, and ice maker sits to starboard of the dining table for seamless service.
Forward of the sky lounge, the pilot house is dressed in soothing light blue tones over beautiful teak flooring. Two captain’s chairs, a settee, and a table create a welcoming vantage point to take in the passage ahead. For convenience and discretion on long passages, the Captain’s cabin with ensuite head is located just off the bridge.
Ahead of the bridge, an oversized sun pad accommodates four or more adults, with speakers to either side so guests can relax on the bow to their favorite soundtrack.
Accessed from midship starboard by a broad staircase, the sun deck is a true social hub. A sizable Jacuzzi hot tub comfortably seats ten adults, while a large bar with six barstools and a Rum Runner machine keeps frozen beverages flowing. Ample guest seating spans the deck, and two captain’s chairs forward provide the option to steer from the top. One of the yacht’s two tenders and two PWC Sea‑Doos are stowed aft of the hard top, joined by a large chef’s grill to starboard and a davit positioned port aft.
The aft deck delivers a covered, generous space for dining and entertaining with a large teak table seating ten guests and a fully equipped bar with three swivel seats. Boarding is via port and starboard gates, and a starboard staircase connects down to the swim platform or up to the bridge deck.
At water level, the swim platform “Beach Club” spreads out as an expansive lounge and watersports launch, shaded by two large umbrellas that can be removed for full sun. From here, there is also direct access to the engine room.
The engine room itself is a showpiece, gleaming with fire‑engine‑red engines, gold‑tone diamond plate, and dedicated air conditioning. A control room with office enhances operability, and a sizable lazarette with dive compressor adds capability and storage.
Forward of the main guest area, the crew quarters are purpose‑built for efficiency and comfort with three upper/lower cabins accommodating up to eight crew, including the double in the Captain’s cabin. A sizable crew table, small galley, pantry, TV, and laundry room support smooth operations, with discreet access to the main guest areas via a hidden door.

Upgrades from 2012 till present
Beginning in 2012, the yacht underwent a major mechanical and aesthetic renewal with the main engines replaced by new MTU engines and the decks refreshed with new teak decking. Momentum continued in 2017, when comfort and entertainment took center stage: new exterior cushions were added on the sun deck, a new A/C system was installed along with a full AC duct cleaning, and a $200,000 investment elevated the onboard AV with a Crestron system, new TVs, and an upgraded sound system. Nightly repose was enhanced with new mattresses in all cabins, and on-water fun expanded with a new water slide and two new sea scooters. In 2018, the interiors received a soft-goods refresh with new carpet and new additional speakers installed throughout, enriching the ambience and audio experience. Most recently, in 2023, seakeeping and reliability were advanced with new NAIAD Zero Speed Stabilizers, while the main engines benefited from new injectors, limiting valves, and fuel lines to the injectors, all fitted with factory parts to ensure uncompromising performance and longevity.
Mechanical / electronics / safety/ auxiliary equipment
Power is delivered by two MTU 8V 4000M60 main engines, each rated at 1,140 BHP at 1,800 RPM and installed by Christensen Shipyard in 2012, with 4,000 hours. They turn through twin Twin Disk model DD6650 gearboxes with a 3:21:1 ratio to Bruntons five-blade Nibral propellers measuring 55" x 45", creating a confident, vibration-free thrust that underpins the yacht’s quiet authority underway.
Electrical self-sufficiency is assured by a Northern Lights MP668H/KW-99 port generator with 846 hours since a major overhaul on 11/14/2023, a starboard Northern Lights MP668H/KW-99 with 1,727 hours since a major overhaul on 11/24/2023, and an aft emergency Northern Lights MP445H/KW-65 with 1,727 hours since a major overhaul on 11/24/2023. A Hyak Electronics converter accommodates 480/380/240/208, in three or single phase, at 50 or 60 Hz, seamlessly adapting shore power worldwide to the yacht’s standards.
Her auxiliary machinery is specified for autonomy and poise at sea, with two Village Marine Tec PW 200 watermakers producing 2,000 gallons per day each (15,140 liters), Naiad 510 stabilizers with Datum Three-Term digital control, and an American Bow Thruster 24 TRAC dual-prop 100 HP bow thruster for precise low-speed handling. Fuel is polished and protected by an Alfa Laval (MIB-3035-13) separator and Racor 75/100 Max-30 turbine-style filtration, while a Nelson Industries Bilge Boy manages bilge water cleanliness. Blackwater is processed by a Fast Systems model MX-15 biological aerobic sewage system, and fresh water purity is elevated by a ChemFree C-10 ozone generator water purifier with Aqua City carbon media filter +22. Steering is redundant and robust, with a primary Jastram PSM engine-driven system complemented by a secondary Jastram PSM electro-hydraulic system.
Battery architecture is straightforward and shipshape, with main engine starting, generator starting, and general service banks all supported by 24 electric battery chargers to ensure dependable cranking power and service continuity.
The bridge is equipped with a professional-grade electronics suite for command with confidence. Long-range situational awareness is delivered by X-band Furuno FR 2115B and S-band Furuno FR 2135B radars, both with a range of 96, while precision control comes via an Anschutz Pilotstar autopilot guided by an Anschutz Gyro Star gyro compass and a Cassens and Plath magnetic compass. Depth intelligence is provided by B and G depth sounders and a Furuno CH-250 searchlight sonar, with wind, speed, and depth consolidated on the B and G Hydra 2000. Navigation is intuitive and redundant with two Garmin 5208 GPS units and Nobeltech Trident plotting software. Global communications are anchored by a Mini-VSAT (KVH V7) for voice and data with two VOIP phone lines and internet, complemented by 4G LTE data via a Cradlepoint Modem COR1BR600, 4G voice via a Tellular 1C02A167 with one cell line, and a Wilson DT4G 460101 data/voice signal booster. VHF capability spans the vessel with Standard Horizon Intrepid GX1270S sets at the bridge, flybridge, and captain’s cabin, with remotes “piggybacking” from each radio to the port wingstation, starboard wingstation, and galley respectively, and a Furuno FM-8500 at the bridge for additional resilience. MF/HF coverage includes a Furuno DSC-60 watch receiver and a Furuno FS-1562-15 SSB at the bridge, while a Furuno NX-500 NAVTEX receiver and Furuno INMARSAT-C Mobel Earth Station FELCOM 12 meet GMDSS requirements. A SEA 857 loud hailer projects clearly from the bridge, flybridge, and swim platform. Onboard connectivity is secured by a Cisco SA520W router/firewall with three wireless access points, with Dell desktop ship’s computers stationed in the captain’s cabin, master study, and control room. Communications and entertainment are rounded out by a Panasonic KX-T7433 telephone and a Sea-Tel model 4004 TVRO stabilized 40" satellite antenna with a DAC 2202 controller.
Laundry needs are met with two Maytag Neptune units dedicated to the crew, complemented by a Whirlpool unit for added capacity.
Deck equipment is engineered for reliability in all conditions. Ground tackle is handled by two Muir 11000 electric anchor windlass systems feeding two 280 kg galvanized steel anchors, with 650' plus 450' of 5/8 HIGH TEST STEEL chain and rode available to set securely in varied seabeds. Two swim-step-type electric deck capstans speed docking maneuvers, while tender management is effortless with a 22' Christensen main tender davit rated to 5,000 lbs and a Nautical Structure crane/davit with a 2,500 lbs capacity. Boarding is elegant and safe via a Marquip tide rider accommodation ladder and a Sanguinetti custom passarella. The toy garage is headlined by an 18' Novurania with a 115 HP Yamaha outboard and a 15' Novurania with a 40 HP Yamaha outboard, alongside two PWC Seadoos and a large selection of water toys.
Firefighting capability is thorough and ship-compliant, with a main fire pump rated at 5 HP and 110 GPM, six fire stations equipped with 50' 1.5" hoses and brass nozzles, and a backup fire/bilge pump for redundancy. Fixed systems include an FM200 system in the engine room and a Badger Range-Guard wet suppression system in the galley, while portable protection is provided by twenty-six fire extinguishers distributed throughout the yacht. A general smoke alarm is linked to the ship’s monitoring system for instant alerts vessel-wide.
Safety and alarms are further reinforced by a CCTV system comprising six Elbex EXC 90 cameras managed through an Elbex EXX 9205 Matrix Controller. Cameras are positioned on the main deck, flybridge, and in the engine room, with five units documented at those locations to maintain vigilant coverage of key operational zones. Sea survival provisions include three ten-man Zodiac SOLAS units, four life rings—two with a light—and EPIRBs comprising GPIRB and SART.
Security and monitoring integrate seamlessly into daily operations via Proface GLL monitors running HYAK Electroworks software at the bridge main, crew mess, and control room. Six motion detectors are positioned on the aft deck and foredeck, and security of valuables is enhanced by three ship safes located in the owner’s, captain’s, and chief officer’s cabins.
The galley is a chef’s domain outfitted without compromise: a Viking RVEC3456BSB 45" electric cooktop anchors the line beside a Viking VEDO1302SS 30" Professional Ultra-Premium Select built-in thermal convection electric double oven, a Miele 15" CS 1322 BG electric barbecue Combiset counter-top grille, an Alto Shaam 767-SK-III Deluxe Control smoker, and a Miele CVA 610 coffee/espresso machine to inspire every service. Refrigeration is abundant and thoughtfully arranged with two Sub-Zero 601R refrigerators, two Sub-Zero 700BR double-drawer refrigerators, and two Sub-Zero 601F freezers, while cleanup is accelerated by two Miele dishwashers. Waste is neatly compacted with a Kitchen Aid KUCC161GSS1 trash compactor.
Owner’s comforts extend to private provisioning with a Sub-Zero 700BR double-drawer refrigerator and a stacked compact-size washer/dryer LTE5243DQ2 tucked discreetly for personal convenience.
Entertaining on the upper deck is effortless, with the salon featuring a Sub-Zero under-counter refrigerator and a Whirlpool ice maker 2313856A, mirrored on deck by a Sub-Zero under-counter refrigerator and an additional Whirlpool ice maker 2313856A to keep refreshments perfectly chilled within steps of the action.
On the sundeck, a Sub-Zero under-counter refrigeration unit ensures cold drinks are always at hand, while a Petite Sorbet Machine D115R adds a playful, gourmet flourish to afternoons al fresco.
The aft deck continues the entertaining theme with a Sub-Zero under-counter refrigerator and a Whirlpool ice maker, ensuring seamless service from sunset cocktails to midnight stargazing.
Crew spaces are equally well considered, with a GE Profile microwave for quick meal prep and an upright Sub-Zero 700TC/700TCI refrigerator/freezer providing generous cold storage to support extended passages in comfort.
