Layout and accommodations

Electrical systems

Expertly engineered distribution panels, switchboards, and electrical systems by De Kiser underpin a robust power plant centered on two sixty-five kW Northern Lights generators, three-phase M4457 units operating at 12/240 volts and 60 Hz to U.S. standard. Generator hours record port (PRT) at 12,713 and starboard (STB) at 11,869. Shore power is 220 V AC through a sixty-five kW Atlas transformer. The battery suite is comprehensive: in the pilothouse, two 12 V 4-D batteries; in the lazarette (PRT), eight 12 V 8-D batteries; in the laz (F), eight 12 V batteries; and in dedicated battery storage, eight 12 V batteries. Charging is via 24 V Master-volt equipment comprising one 50 amp, one 60 amp, and one 100 amp unit, with an additional 760 amp capacity noted. Lighting is both 24 V DC and 110 V AC, and generator start is 12 V.

Engine room and mechanical

The engine room is expansive, meticulously arranged, and designed for superb access to every system and mechanical space. There are two points of entry—forward via the crew’s quarters and aft via the garage—both through watertight doors. The main ship’s electrical panels are positioned forward, by the engine room access from the crew’s quarters, and the entire space is air conditioned for comfort and efficiency. Performance

She delivers confident, repeatable performance across the power band: at 1,000 rpm she burns 44 gallons per hour to make 8 knots with a range of 1,023 nautical miles; increasing to 1,100 rpm yields a fuel burn of 72 gallons per hour for 11 knots and a 763‑nautical‑mile range; and at 1,400 rpm she records 120 gallons per hour, making 13 knots with a range of 593 nautical miles.

Mechanical systems

The yacht’s mechanical suite is engineered for dependable performance and effortless handling, beginning with climate control via a Dometic chiller installed in November 2016 and a 208-volt, 60 Hz electric air compressor. Stability and maneuverability are assured by Naiad hydraulic stabilizers, not zero speed, complemented by Naiad hydraulic bow and stern thrusters. Domestic water systems are equally robust, featuring two 50-gallon fresh water heaters, each with a circulation pump, a Sea Recovery watermaker producing 900 gallons per day, a fresh water pressure system with two 110 VAC units, and two Mac 5 fresh water pumps. Fuel conditioning is handled by an Alfa Laval fuel separator, while safety and dewatering are supported by electric/automatic bilge and crash pumps, with two main engines. Shore power is managed through an Atlas 65 kW transformer. Steering is hydraulic, with helm and control stations at both the flybridge and the pilothouse. Waste management is streamlined by a Hamann black water sewage system and Hamann sewage treatment system, together with a vacuum toilet system utilizing Vacu-Flush jet heads. Grey water is handled via a sump box with six compartments and three 340V electric sump pumps.

Tonnage

With a gross tonnage of 224 tons and a net tonnage of 67 tons, the yacht delivers substantial volume and efficiency, complemented by Displacement L of 148 tons. Tankage is equally robust, featuring fuel capacity of 5,800 USG, equivalent to 21,955 liters; fresh water capacity of 700 USG, equivalent to 2,649 liters; and waste water capacity of 475 USG, equivalent to 1,800 liters.

Aft deck
